TISl was brought to Australia I believe, but that was it.

Mac did handful of shows in UK, Ireland and Germany in 2004 and luckily they did a full European tour in 2009.

Stevie didn't forget about Europe in 2001. The attacks on the World Trade Center (and the Pentagon, and the crash in Western PA) happened while Stevie was in New York City preparing for the Radio City TISL show, while she was in her hotel room. She didn't want to go on with the tour at all as a result. She mentions this on Nicks Fix somewhere . . .

At Amoeba record store, I asked her about the HBO show going to DVD, and she looked up blankly, and said, "We should do that!" I then asked her when we'd see a DVD of all the Fleetwood Mac Music Video's like YOU did on Crystal Visions, and she said, "Not sure" ...so then Karen her assistant jumped in and stated, "It's actually in the works now", Stevie with confused look on her face, "It is???" Really?! I had no idea. I went through dozens of interviews from 1981-82 and The Highwayman was always that one song she didn't talk about. If you happen to have a link to these interviews I'd love to see them! :)

Will you PLEASE release a box set of all the best versions of the vault demos, with a book explaining the meaning behind each song, what album it was intended to go on & why they didn't make the final cut, etc ?
I also like this post. I really want Stevie to do this but I think we're all dreaming so to speak. There's so much she could release but for some reason won't like outtake photos etc. Such a shame for it to all sit in vaults and waste away. NOW is the time not 30 to 50 yrs from now. Seize the day as 'they' say. :shrug::D

Yes, I've got at least one of those on tape somewhere.

She talks about the old poem The Highwayman that inspired the idea of it, and how the highwayman is Don and the Eagles and the guys in FM...how they are like highwaymen because they are on the road and traveling around and staying in great hotels and that she is one of the few highwaywomen who knows their secrets because she's on the road etc with them.

If I recall she also quotes the line "considers slowing down but then he could never win" and saying it was about how "she" purposely slows down and lets the man win. "She gets a lot further if she just lets him win" and then talks about how she learned quickly that if she was going to be around all these big male rock and rollers she'd have to be "quiet and feminine" around them and "trick them to death"

omg yes! you're right! You saying that brings some of that back.. she says something about "we travel around and stay in great hotels and make lots of money" and are basically thieves. Now I'm going to have to dig through some old boxes and see if I still have those tapes.....;)

how sad is it that as I age I find myself forgetting the most basic things, and yet I can remember details from random interviews that Stevie gave 25 years or so ago..... someday I'll be in the nursing home not knowing who I am but reciting Stevie's career highlights or something....oy....
