The Stevie Baby song is horrid! I saw him perform it back in December and I was almost embarassed for him. It was totally cheesy. It was puppy love. My date started laughing and said "oh my gah, how old are they? That sounds like some highschool song." I'd love to know what Stevie thinks about that song...

I have to admit I was totally surprised at how charming Dave was. I didn't think I could ever get past the fact he looked like a creepy perv wearing sunglasses and a hat all the time. How many is she actually still friends with, though?

Lindsey, Don, Mick... and then Tom if you're of the belief that they ever took it past friends. And I guess Waddy, too, if you want to horrify yourself with a belief in that potential pairing. But Lindsey and Mick are understandable, and she's known Waddy forever and ever anyway.

Dave was just a one night stand really, I'd hardly call that a relationship. And they didn't really remain friends over the years, they just got reconnected recently.

So all in all Don is the only one I can think of that, given the context, seems out of the ordinary for her to still be friends with to this day.

That said, I'm probably missing about 15 boyfriends that she still talks to ... I can't keep up.

Maybe I'm biased because I've always found non-standardly attractive men to be more interesting, but really, when people talk about someone like Joe Walsh like he ISN'T a catch, it drives me crazy. Are there really that many famous rock n roll musicians who could have kept up with Stevie in '86, and who could identify with her level of celebrity? Or people mention Tom....Tom Petty seems like such an incredible man. He brings so much more to the table than 99% of the "pretty" men in the world. I was actually not refering only to looks. I know full well that gorgeous men can be total ****heads and those not overly blessed can be the most attractive men out there.

My issue is, Stevie is like the queen of romance. Yeah, she had loads of lovers but I'm pretty sure there was love (real or imagined) toward them, even if it was only a kind of free-love hippy thing and they were the guy of the moment.

i mean............i do believe they love eachother. they have loooooooooooooooooong history. but the fact that they just can't get right makes me believe that they're just not right for eachother. as much as you wanna be w/ someone that someone might just be poison! i think they're eachother's poison.

on the flip.............i think they're are still some unresolved issues that maybe are too painful to fix. i really believe the big breakup was more than any of us can ever imagine. some SHYT really went down.........it just feels that way.

When Dave put his arm about Stevie's neck I absolutely died. So sweet. You can see they make each other happy, and contrary to the Dave & his wife's magazine article, I think there's def something going on. Dave looks at her life she puts the stars in the sky. She sorta does though :) :angel: But yes, I believe they is Soul Mates ♥
