I'd be mortified to see Stevie in a "I look so young and fabulous all because of this overly expensive skin cream!" commercial.

Viv, I saw your sigpic, and was so confused for a moment!!

Stevie's skin does look great though- don't know if I see her doing a skincare ad, though it would be kind of cool. Any positive exposure is good for her at this point!

Agree or no!? NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Artist get picked on when they do these kind of things! Remember, Cher? Heart is currently getting picked on for allowing their song 'What About Love'? on a swiffer ad, what dumb asses don't seem to know is that they didn't write that song so they didn't really have a say!

So no, I don't want Stevie picked on!

I actually looked up La Mer last night. Would you believe they sell the largest size of their cream for $1650?!?!?

No joke...

Stevie's skin: good genetics + endless trips to the dermatologist (peels, fillers, ect.) + days at the spa + crazy ass expensive face creams = the nice complexion we see today. I am not hating I would do the same thing!

That largest size of La Mer is TWICE my mortgage payment... including HOA dues and taxes!

Stevie's skin isn't just due to her staying out of light, using fancy creams, and going to dermatologists... she's has some snipping done here and there over the years. She's been ultra conservative about what she's had done, and has been very discreet about it too. But she's at the very minimum had an eye lift, which is an outpatient procedure. I think it's unfair of her to say she's had nothing done... it puts this pressure on people to think EVERYONE should naturally look like that when they're in their mid 60s.

I have always been really curious about Stevie's diet/nutrition regime. I know she mentioned the Atkins Diet numerous times around The Dance. I wonder if she still follows those same principles since Atkins has kind of become a fad now. I read on the Nicks Fix that she likes Mexican food, but does not eat it a lot. I bet she has to be very strict with her diet being that she has a petite bones structure and is older now. I could see her being out there enough to get into juice fasts and holistic nutrition.

When she goes to a restaurant what does she order?

Just wondering if someone could shed a little more light onto this topic.

Yes, I totally agree with you. She has obviously had pulls and snips done. A 62-year-old woman without wrinkles? It doesn't exist and it's not realistic. But, she has been wise with what she has done and I think it looks pretty tasteful. I was watching The Judd's show last night on the OWN network and Naomi is around Stevie's age. The work Naomi has had done looks a lot more alienish than Stevie's. But, Naomi did make it a point to say that even though it kills her feet and knees, "Wearing high heels on stage is my job!":p

What was that magnet plate that Stevie says she uses sometimes?

That was funny, when we all started reading about it, after she mentioned it.

Wonder if she's ever considered using a shake weight. She'd hurt herself for sure.

Stevie seems like one of the least athletic people I can imagine. Her idea of a workout would be twirling with the occasional use of that weird vibrating plate thing.Ya, ya I know she has had ballerina training, but I doubt it was ever too strenuous. She would definitely get flustered by the shake weight and drop it on her foot.

I also believe Stevie stays out of the sun as much as possible. Even when she was younger she had hats on most of the time when they were outside. Didn't she also use a steamer to help her voice going back when she was younger with FM? Steaming your face with warm/hot water does help make your skin glow and look better. I am sure the above things help her look great for her age too. :)

I would love to know this too! I am nine years younger than Stevie and boy, it's tough to keep weight off once you're past 50 years old unless you LOVE to eat salads and egg whites at every meal.:(

Agree Stevie has had some discreet work done. She's had her nose trimmed down ever so slightly (the tip). And recall that it was a plastic surgeon that she'd gone to about having (the outside) her nose done who told her about the giant hole she'd burned on the INSIDE.

She wasn't always so smart about the sun... I still have a FM poster from the Rumours era where she is tanned as brown as a coconut. (The one where she's in the white gauzy dress). Mama got smarter as she got older.

She does however seem to have a bit of a thinning hair thing going on in the front....

Let's be accurate, Louie: she says she's never had a facelift. And I agree with everything else you say, but don't portray her as denying anything else than not having a facelift. She uses that term because she knows full-well that, whatever else she's had, she's not had 'a facelift'.

If Stevie had a facelift, We'd notice BIG time. Mama looks great for her age with the help of the smaller procedures she's most likely done. Some procedure has been done to her neck and chin, much too defined for a woman her age. Also possibly a subtle eye lift, a minor nose job and all the fillers, peels and regular dermatologist visits. But Mama has had the tell tale jowls for a while, that a woman her age would have, whose not had a complete invasive facelift.

But her skin is amazing, "massaging" la MEr alone does not achieve her results. I'm actually surprised she still uses that concocted petroleum based cult crap...sorry, but there is a plethora of more researched dermaceutical face products available at her disposal. All LAMer is doing, is keeping her moist. The dewy is all about good circulation and regular facials.

Not sure if you guys saw this, it's a snap from backstage at Oprah... If you click through and enlarge the photo, Sheryl with the amount of lines and wrinkles actually looks older than Stevie... I don't know what Stevie's done, or not done, maybe a little botox, I don't think she's had a facelift... and isn't an eye lift from the top? Her eyebrows seem pretty low to me so wouldn't those be raised if she had an eyelift, or is an eyelift something else?... She's got some undereye lines... She looks like she's in full makeup here and maybe that's the stuff that keeps her skin looking smooth... Plus keeping a few extra pounds on doesn't hurt... She does look great for her age in any case.

Eye lifts basically remove excess skin along the lids. My "Mother in law" had an eye lift done a while back, and she doesn't even wear makeup, and you cannot tell she ever had surgery. You couldn't tell she had surgery 2 weeks after her operation. It's a pretty seemless procedure. It basically just makes your eyes and lids look like they way they're supposed to... minus excess, sagging skin.
