Say a prayer for my mom

My mom is in ICU at the OSU medical. She almost died last year from bloodclots and liver failure. She's been on dialysis for 3 days a week for about 6 months. Now she is back in the hospital with more bloodclots and low blood pressure and a staff infection. Please say a prayer for Donna Arlene B. at OSU medical to get better. I don't care if your wiccan, or christian or whatever.

I would like to thank everyone for your kind wishes. My mom has been through the ringer and today she has improved a little bit. She is still in ICU but some things have stabilized. I spent a lot of time with her today and we had an excellent conversation about life. I just know she will pull through. THANK YOU LEDGIES!

Yeah glad to hear she's better. She's in a great hospital. A friend of mine spent 5 days there after his heart attack last year. He still talks about how great that hospital and the nurses were !! I will continue to pray for her !! ;)

ty, yeah, I know, Mom spent a month in there last year and they were wonderful. We specifically asked them to send her back to OSU. The surrounding hospitals cannot compare. And yes, mom's nurses are wonderful.

Thanks peeps. She took a turn for the worse last night. Knee surgery today because some type of bacteria has settled in where she had knee replacement surgery. And she is getting surgery for dialysis splint today too. It's infected too. It sorta never stops.

"The healing touch," as they say.
Just for starters, it stimulates the immune system.

Reading to her might be very helpful, also.


Oh - And if you can afford it and she's up for it, get the tv turned on for her.
Boredom is a REAL bad idea when it comes to sick people.
