So I've been on a Dreams kick lately and I am wondering, what are your favorite live versions?
I love this one from 6-27-1983 because she has a few changes in it: "Have you any dreams that you'd like to sell? Lonely dreams... like a heartbreak drives you mad" And then her vocal on the second "drives you mad" and "oooh women they will come, darlin they will go, they will go.." and "well they say some women they will come and they will always go baby, go baby" gives me chills!

Then there is this one from 4-12-1986 in Austin, TX that I love mainly because at the end she sings, "Who is the wildest, the wildest, wildest heart of all?" and her crazy RAL vocals

I know there have to be some more amazing versions out there, so please share your favs! :)

I don't know that it's a classic performance by any means, but it was the first (and only) time I have seen Stevie live, and this song in particular gave me goosebumps throughout. I will never forget everything about her performance of this song, right down to the lighting. It was truly magical to witness.

I'm with you on that one! She was really having a blast that night. Can't wait to see her in London :)

My two fav versions are the one off the Live '80 Fleetwood Mac album, and the one off her solo Soundstage.

I don't know if it was a particularly great version, but my favorite will always be Las Vegas '97. It was the first time I saw Fleetwood Mac, and my 13 year old self was in awe.

One of my favorite versions of Dreams is from the Melbourne Unleasehed show. I love when she goes for the higher notes right before the 2nd chorus.

For some reason, I love the Live In Boston version. For one, I was there. Plus, I adore the lil 'ahhhhhhhhhhh' at the end. <3

I love many of the live RAL versions of Dreams because she threw in so many ad libs, etc. but my all time fav version is the HBO special from the Bella Donna tour. It's absolute perfection...

You know it baby! *sprinkles Mike with fairy dust* Seriously though, does it get any better than this? The quintessential Stevie performance of Dreams right here darlings. She's so beautiful it hurts. I could cry. Just watch the video.

I've always loved that weird array of items of clothing she's wearing on this "Dreams". That crystally neck thing, the overlay, the white capelet, the things connecting to her sleeves, and the "Blue Lamp" cape thrown on top of it all (but slouched around her elbows after it fell down on "Outside The Rain")!

The cleavage ain't' to bad either ;). I'm actually inspired to buy a gold pyramid necklace after watching this for the 200th time. I have a sterling silver moon necklace but it's time for a gold pyramid from Camias Designs (if only I could afford it right now).

Love the 1981 HBO Bella Donna tour version for all the reasons mentioned, and the Dance version...love love love hearing Christine's harmonies on that one, especially at the end!

I tend to like her latter-day renditions more. I like the one on The Dance an awful lot. The one from the '81 HBO special is awesome, too. Soundstage is another great one.
