31 days left to go! I got a Best Buy gift card from Christmas that I have been sitting on and LauraTN and I are going to Knoxville to buy this great music. I am from the old school ,I like to buy music that I can feel and touch, read the liner notes,look at the pictures, look who played on each song etc. I don't whether to play it the car or at home on the surround sound. I am trying to decide whether or not to post a new thread each day(and clutter up things)or continue on this thread.

25 days to go.One of the impessions I got while I watched "Gold Dust Woman" from Stevie's Soundstage was that ending . The "you should see me now" part got me excited that maybe Stevie will be working on some solo work soon.

do you know if they still do the record convention in New Haven I remember going all the time years ago miss going to them used to find alot of good finds there it might be in North Haven it was at a Holiday Inn 99 Rock WPLR used to sponsor it was curious if they still do that wondering if you knew.

I will more likely buy my copy of In Your Dreams either at Walmart or Target they are near me rather do it that way than pre order. I think its cool the fan edition but its not worth it unless you want the big picture of the album cover lithograph which looks nice and the extra track would be cool to have too but rather go cheap this time around and looking forward to Stevie touring this Summer and coming back to CT.

I'm so excited, really. Not so much nervous because with the exception of Cheaper Than Free (which I'm just indifferent toward), I've been very drawn toward everything we've heard so far. Even songs like Annabel Lee that weren't my favorite from the sizzle reel [or the demos], I still liked.

I was playing it in the background but I don't remember what it sounded like, but I do remember going through the album artwork in great detail. The cover had a halogram effect going on so it would change as you looked at it from a different angle. I remember thinking in my dream that I didn't really care for this effect. :lol: I wish I could remember the pics in better detail but there were very gothic and fabulous, with the long black dresses and all. In one shot Stevie was standing in front of this castle and that white horse may have been there, too. Anyway, a very cool dream!! It's gonna be a long week folks!

Two days to go.I am still not peeking. I pretty much did the same thing when 'Tango in the Night ' was coming out. I avoided all media for weeks prior to its release. The only info I had when I dropped the needle on that record was the front cover art and a 'Big Love' sticker on the packaging . I didn't know the song order-nothing. This was the last studio album from the Rumours lineup. Hopefully IYD isn't Stevie's last solo effort. Today while I was looking for tornado damage photos of Alabama ,one of those sites had a photo link of Stevie.It was linked to a new Spinner article on Stevie. Of course I didn't read it. Maybe our girl is getting around.
