Do we have a detailed list of Stevie's boyfriends (or girlfriends ;) ) since after the breakup with Lindsey? Of course we know about the famous ones - Don, Joe, etc. but what about the others?
Apologies if this has been discussed before.

She was seeing Stan Lynch for awhile, back when he was still drumming for the Heartbreakers.

I thought the newest rumour was that she's dating Robert Plant? The frustrating thing about Stevie is that her romantic life is pretty well documented up till 1989, where she had a fling with Rupert Hine (I think?) and then that pretty much drops off the radar.

Okay. I'm sooo sorry if this has been asked before and if it has nothing to do with this thread.
But... Who is this "Carlos" guy I've seen mentioned in some other threads?
Again, sorry(:. Like I said, I'm new here(;

Carlos Rios, maybe? Her rhythm guitar player? I haven't heard anything about them being in a relationship.
Also, almost EVERY lesbian Stevie fan I know has tried to convince me that Stevie and Sharon were a "thing" back in the day when they were roommates. I think it's just wishful thinking on their part, though...as there really hasn't been any evidence.

I can understand a gnarly dude like Jimmy Iovine...I guess even Waddy...but Joe Walsh?

come to think of it, who HAS she dated (if anyone) since the early 90's? You would think we would know something, this being the internet age and all. Doesn't Sharon live with her? Hmmm....is Sharon married? Me senses something may be up with her and Stevie :)

Although, you know it's absolutely none of our business, a situation like this does make sense. We've all heard her say that it's nearly impossible for her to have a relationship w/anyone who was not in the business. With all of her traveling, recording, etc. it would almost have to be someone she sees on a regular basis ! I know iam gonna get yelled at for this but, i do think she may be bi-sexual. I am NOT putting her down, nor do i think it's wrong, i just think it's a logical possibility. Stevie is a relationship person, even people who aren't her fans know that. What doesn't make sense is the time between now and her last KNOWN relationship. It just doesn't add up that she has seen absolutely noone since the 90's. She's a beautiful, vibrant, passionate woman. This bi-sexuality rumor has been going around since she broke up with Lindsey back in the day. I first heard it in the mid-eighties ! The fact that the rumor has been around this long, may add some credibility to it. It would also legitimized her recorded answer when interviewers have asked in the past if she is gay. She always said no, i am not gay, i love men way too much for that. They never asked her if she was bi-sexual though, did they ?

More like late 90s. She has alluded to a younger man and someone from her past, both around the time of the Dance, which was '97. But since then, no, nothing (someone will correct me if I'm wrong on that!).
I don't think Sharon has lived with Stevie for quite some years now, and I saw an interview once with her (it might be on Nicks Fix?) where she talked about a long-term guy in her (Sharon's) life.
As for their being lovers? I have fun sometimes watching Sharon watching Stevie when they're sharing a mic, too! But noooooo, I don't think so somehow.:lol::lol:

Sharon and Stevie? No. Sharon has been involved with someone for over a decade. A man. And Stevie is not bi.

I think Stevie may be more than happy to be alone with her journals, pillows, blankets, candles and her dog. She has had more than her fair share of lovers and bad relationships. A women of her age and experience, just might prefer to be alone (Greta). I mean she's a beautiful lady, if she wanted a relationship, she'd have one. Maybe she does have a friend or two with benefits, she gets it when she wants it.

Aside from the occasional romp with Lindsey ( which I think is more off than on these days) she has alluded to being okay with being alone. I recall a quote from the TISl era about a high priestess living in a fabulous castle.

So, if we're going for the list thing - I'm going by memory here, I'm sure I'm getting some of this wrong, but off the top of my head...
Dave Young (high school sweetheart)
Lindsey Buckingham (c. 1970-c. 1976, post-breakup romps unconfirmed but likely lol)
Don Henley (c. 1975-c.1979, really more occasional hook-ups than relationship, seems to have ended after Henley got with serious girlfriend Maren Jensen in 1979)
Mick Fleetwood (c. 1978, brief fling)
Jimmy Iovine (c. 1981-1982, Bella Donna relationship)
Kim Anderson (1983, a three month mistake, not sure if they were ever even intimate despite being married, not really a "love" per se)
Joe Walsh (1983 - c. 1986, supposed "great love")
Dave Stewart (c. 1985, a one-nighter, again not really a "love" per se)
Rupert Hine (c. 1988- c.1989, Other Side of the Mirror relationship)
Unnamed
"Forbidden Love" (nineties)
Younger guy (nineties)
Who am I missing? Plus I'm not positive about all those dates.
And when they ask her about the men in her life... and they DO ask her...

I want Stevie to find someone to be in a serious relationship. It seems like she has been searching for this her whole life if you "read between the lines". She's beautiful, famous and rich, finding a partner is probably difficult. If she finds it,I hope she keeps it secret(although I'm dying to know)!

Also Paul Fiskin, who helped get Modern Records and Bella Donna off the ground; a fling with Walter Egan; Curry Grant (a fling...he dated Christine longer I believe); and there's always been a rumour about Tom Petty but neither Stevie nor Tom has admitted it publicly. And I read an interview of Ray Thomas from the Moody Blues who said he'd had a relationship with her.

^I don't think she ever had a relationship with Walter Egan. I think he had the hots for her but she said they were nothing more than friends.
My boss played golf with Norm Van Lier (great basketball player with the Chicago Bulls in the 70's) a few years ago and Norm told my boss that he slept with Stevie a few times in the 70's. I don't think he said they were in a relationship, just had sex a few times.
My boss, knowing I was (am) a huge Stevie fan, came into my office the next day to tell me about it. I don't know if I believe it because it just doesn't seem like Stevie had any connections to professional athletes and wouldn't be running in the same circles. But, she's the only one who knows who she slept with (if she can remember).

**they say the same about Oprah and Gayle. blah!
was it ever confirmed that her and waddy were together. smmfh! God i hope not.

i feel ya but i think she just maybe happy now with the life she has made for herself. she always says how she "scarificed" the wife/mother life for her art. i totally respect that and believe that that just may be where her love really lies. not everyone needs a title (not saying that you said that).
imo she found her soulmate w/ lindsey. she's known this man since..........foreva and she can hand him her music and he knows EXACTLY what to do with it. u can't buy that kind of chemistry.

"It's not easy to be involved with a lady singer who's always gone. Paul is sweet and wonderful and understands as well as anyone. I'm not interested in playing around, but I do get terribly lonely on the road."
People Magazine, 1977
"For whatever reasons ~ which aren't important ~ my relationship with Paul stopped, he is the one man in my life that was truly good. Truly understood. I was in an emotional trauma all through that fifteen months. And he stood by and watched it, and was as much help as he could be. While the rest of the world questioned me constantly, including my very close friends. About everything."

What was it with her and tall guys? I've heard she has been seen with a player from the Suns in the past but didn't get a name and it was also mentioned to me in passing. To me it seems impossible that Stevie isn't at least seeing someone. I think when she speaks about not having time for anyone it means that she doesn't have time for a serious, committed, full-on relationship. That doesn't mean she isn't seeing someone or multiple people casually. Stevie does NOT like to be alone, IMO.

I have no issues with how many guys she's banged, what they looked like, what job they did, whether they were married.... None. Of. My. Business.
I also think that, until she decided she couldn't be bothered with it any more, she was a perfectly normal adult woman who got together with men for consensual sex when she wanted to. Maybe coke made her a little friskier, but using drugs was her choice too and in amongst the damage I bet she had some damn good times. :woohoo:

I always thought it was funny when she said she bought her second property in California in part because she wanted some privacy and didn't want everyone to see who was coming and going to her place. That made me ask, well who is coming and going that she'd like to keep shrouded. Bill Clinton? Michele
Michele!! You said Bill Clinton..that kills me. Here he is:
Momma's gettin it Slick Willy style?

Who is talking about issues? I have no moral issues with her sexual proclivities or her recreational drug use! We are just indulging in speculation, and having fun with it. It not meant to be taken too seriously!
Yeh, I get that. Sorry if I came across a bit po-faced. I only said what I said because there have been threads like this in the past that have turned pretty judgemental about SN's sex life in ways that I don't think people would if she was a guy, and I was hoping that wouldn't happen with this thread. :D
And in the spirit of speculation, I just worked something out! I always thought that late 90s was the last time Stevie alluded to being in a relationship. But then I remembered there's an interview somewhere in which Stevie says that she was seeing someone who was struggling in the music business and that she split up with them because they weren't able to be happy for her when she got a huge cheque for the Dixie Chicks' cover of 'Landslide'. Well, that song came out in 2002, which means that 2002/2003 is probably the latest date we have for her saying that she was seeing someone. Any idea who, though?

There were some rumours about Stevie and Dave Stewart when they first began making this album. Anyone heard any gossip on those two since? I know Dave's married...but he's also divorced too! I don't really see those two together imo.

LMAO on her imitation of Rod. I'm lovin' the backpedaling on Joe Walsh.
And.....I won't throw my 2 cents in about the last 3 mins of the interview yet.

^She was hilarious when she was talking about Rod. And these interviewers could almost be Ledgies, from the questions they asked.

Yeah, now that we got her on Oprah, our next campaign should be to have us interview her.

omg this interview is hysterical. she cracks me up when talking about rod - ha!! he is like a 7 year old, lol!! ha the best part is when her voice gets high talking about it being more symmetrical for her. she really needs to start changing her setlist though. its funny how she says she hasnt changed it in 35 years, lol!
omg her trying to imitate rod's accent is killing me. i am at work now in hysterics!!

too funny! i keep saying that lindsey is back in her good graces for a little bit, now when she's thoroughly annoyed with rod's ways.

I honestly think she's single these days, and that she's honestly happy that way.
:woohoo:
Very well written !! I agree. I am quite sure she was the life of the party ;). Wouldn't you love to time travel back to some of those parties and be a fly on the wall ?? I would

Some not mentioned who I suspect she had at least a one nighter:
Mike Campbell
Eric Clapton
Dave Grohl
And, what about that billionaire guy from Australia who was some thoroughbred horse owner that she was going to a bunch of horse races with (just after The Dance and just before Enchanted)...remember the big splash about a few members of Fleetwood Mac going to the Kentucky Derby the next May after The Dance was released?

Dave Grohl? Interesting. Any reason why? I could see him being into her.

I'm not being sarcastic in the slightest! Stevie was SO in love with Joe... Her love for him inspired her to write so many wonderful songs, like "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You?", "She Loves Him Still"... And more...

I don't doubt that Stevie loved Joe, but I think she would have written HAEWAFY for anyone, given the circumstances. If she'd seen a fountain that Eric Clapton had built for Conor, she would have been similarly inspired, I'd bet.

Joe is the poet... the priest of nothing... Yes, her love for him is the point. Yet another thing that made her fall in total complete love with him in 1983.
