I was just wondering. Stevie had talked about how saddened and angered she was over her demos being stolen. I wonder if, now that a lot of this stuff is online with torrents and links provided here and various fan sites, would Stevie have someone going through all these so she can have digital collections of her old demos. I mean, it seems kind of absurd that Stevie herself is sitting around the house with big boxes of cassette tapes and reel to reels going through her old stuff when we have many of them on our iPods and CD players. What do you guys think?

I think I'd be happy to digitize her collection for her! Free of charge, of course. And I can't promise to not sneak copies for myself. :D

I cant blame Stevie for being pissed off .It's like somebody breaking into somebodies house and snatched something personal to them.and what kind of a close friend that would be.
If Stevie was a big fan of the internet like Dave Stewart ,She probably would offer demos on her website.
Any Yes I would love to hear demos of the current cd.

You bring up a very interesting point. Stevie stated that "everything I've ever done is on YouTube! Even stuff I don't remember doing!!" so it leads me to believe after finding Secret Love on there, she went on to find some more of her stuff. It seems completely logical to me that she would then want to compile a digital collection of all her demos, that way she can find some songs she forgot she even ever wrote and have them all at her fingertips. After being around Dave and his love for modern technology, I wouldn't be surprised if she enlisted someone to take her tapes and make them all digital for her. Then she will have Karen put them all on her iPod and she will travel the world this summer listening to gems such as City of Hope, Mabel Normand, She Loves Him Still, Forsaken Love, and Love You Enough and when it comes time to make a new Mac record, she will happily pull out one or two of these lost gems! Atleast, that is what I hope happens. She may not give a rats ass about digital copies!

Hearing the Uncirculated Rumors version of Castaway and the sessions from a few years later I got the feeling that she was starting up work on the song some years later without having the original tape because the chorus sounded very different when played on the keyboard and she mentions somewhere during it that she hoped she remembered how it went. I have song demos on dozens of tapes in boxes and I'd love to have all of them on a handful of CDs.

It's possible. I know Jimmy Page did it for stuff he was missing from his own Zep collection (meaning he went to the fans for the tapes and then remastered them).
