If this album good and I'm pretty sure it is going to be, I'll probably end up buying at least 5 copies of it, give some a way

Just one this time unless there are some sort of special editions (which I'm not counting on). I simply don't know of anyone else who would enjoy the album besides me.

Same here. But I voted three because I have a feeling there will be some kind of deluxe edition that I will inevitably buy too :)

I got a Best Buy gift that I've been saving from Christmas to buy the cd. I would like a vinyl copy(if one comes out)to hang in the man cave on my Stevie /FM wall.

I'll buy one. Upload it to my itunes, download onto my phone, and then keep the CD in my car.

I'll most likely end up with at the very least two. I have multiple copies of all of her albums. I'm not one of those who need a copy for every room in the house but I always seem to end up with several copies for whatever reason. For instance I have ten copies of The Wild Heart but that's on LP cassette CD and reel to reel tape!!!

KarmaContestant

One on CD, and one on vinyl.

I'd only buy a digital copy if it had exclusive non-album studio tracks, but I don't see that happening.

Being a poor student, I'll just buy one copy and keep it in my car after ripping it to iTunes. If there's any deluxe versions, I'll just download the bonus tracks off iTunes.

One hard copy and one digital copy because I must have any bonus tracks being offered.

Side Note: I'm really surprised there are no promos circulating this time around...TISL was all over the place months before the release date!

Me too. Besides the WBR one I pre-ordered, I'm fairly optimistic that bonus songs will be available through purchases from online outlets, or something like a Target exclusive.

There could very well be two versions, the standard CD only version and the CD/DVD combo that includes the movie (the same way "Crystal Visions" was released).

I will buy the CD and burn that to iTunes so it's in my iPod and I have the hard copy. I will also buy the cd/dvd delux edition or additional iTunes track if one is available.

But Danielle, you have 1,445 Facebook Friends. With the average CD "on sale" price at $15.00, you'll be spending ar0und $21,675.00...and that's NOT including tax!

What do YOU do for a living? ;)

Well,I have ordered it online at Dutch bol.com, should be available on Aprik 29th. But when the mailman does not deliver it that day, I might rush to the local record store and biy it. Because April 30th is Queensday, a National holiday and the mail probably will not come.

I will put it into my CD-Rom player, rip it for my iPod and probably never ever will play the actual CD again in my CD-player, because lot's of my music is digital stored nowadays -)

At 1st glance this sounds irrational, buy I understand absolutely. Other than coming to The Ledge and sharing and communing in our excitement, it would also be truly wonderful for those that we are closest with in our day to day lives, to share in our love for Stevie and this seemingly brilliant new album.:xoxo: Fortunately, my brother and I have always been Stevie Nicks/FM fans (but I'm definitely the chiffonhead out of the two of us) And throughout the years, thank gawd, friends of mine have been bitten by a contact Stevie high, by their exposure through me. My partner of many many years is probably the 2nd biggest Stevie fan, after myself, that I am closest to. I cannot even imagine being in an intimate relationship with someone who could not stand Stevie or even a casual fan. It's practically a prerequisite . We love to get high, Turn up her music on a great sound system and let Stevie wash over our senses and indulge in her excesses. It would be so hard to sit all alone, in a room, in your house....and not be able to go apesh*t over this once in a decade experience, and having noone near to share it within perosn. Ugh, I would go raving mad. I'm planning a Stevie listening party at my house. Martini's, in addition to a big assortment of alcoholic beverages, the ubiquitous super grass and loud pulsating music:thumbsup: What a way to kick off Springtime...fresh spring rains, everything around me earthy and grassy AND new Stevie music.

I'm giving a copy to everyone I know.

If I knew anybody who I thought would like the album, I'd send it to them. I think it would be way too current and pop-y for my parents... my music buddy Lee would think it's too mainstream and polished sounding. Most people I know just wouldn't be interested in the album. Wish that weren't the case!

"Zero" is not an option? Hmm.

Especially after viewing the sizzle reel, all I'm interested in is the Soldier's Angel song, so I'm was hoping I could just buy that one song.

And this is coming from someone who has been a fan since 1976 and has bought many, many copies of every FM and Stevie and Lindsey release since then, in all different formats (multiple copies of the same albums, 45's , cassettes, cds, videotapes, DVDs, DVD-A's, including singles and non-U.S. singles, and DJ promo singles, etc. In fact, recently, every time I turn around, I seem to find another unopened copy of "Under The Skin"). From the unimaginative title of "In Your Dreams" (ugh! prepositional phrases for album titles I thought was a Lindsey thing), every time I read or see something new about IYD, I'm less interested.

And again, this is not the first time that "this is the best work Stevie has ever done" has been said repeatedly shortly before an album's release. It is said every single time. Every album has been "the best she''s ever done" before it comes out.

I vote zero.

Being a poor student... If there's any deluxe versions, I'll just download the bonus tracks off iTunes.

Being a poor musician, that's what I'll do, too. However, as with the latest Eric Clapton album, there might be different "bonus tracks" at different vendors. iTunes may have one tune, Best Buy may have another, etc, etc. So, like I did with the latest Clapton album, I just went online and downloaded just the bonus tracks from each vendor (I think I had to go to 3 sites to get them all) after buying the CD at my local music store (yes, folks, there still is one left here in California).

Let's just hope they don't do what they did with Soundstage and make separate tracks for each vendor, but then requiring you to buy the whole album to get the bonus track.

I plan on buying at least 3. One for the car, one for my house (which will probably remain unopened as to keep it in good condition until my other one inevitably wears out).. and then AT LEAST one for others, probably my mom for her car.

Then I'm buying four more for four of my friends that i think might be remotely interested.

So I guess that brings me up to 7.... was a bit ahead of myself when i said 3, I suppose.

Oh, I'm completely alone too.

I just like to share my music with people in hopes that they'll like it. If they don't want to listen to it they don't have to, but I just think - if someone cared enough to go out and buy me a CD, I'd probably pop it in and give it a try to see what was so great.

I give my mother everything because she'll listen to it in the car.

My friends are all my age and generally know MAYBE one song, IF that by Stevie/FM, so I just pick the ones who I think would be most into it (luckily all of my friends are musical people) and give it to them.

Right?! I popped in Rock-A-Little at work the other day, and I swear the salon went into Katy Perry withdrawl. I played the whole thing out though, and next week will be The Wild Heart. And I swear I'm super glueing my ipod into it's station and playing NOTHING but IYD for the month of May. Stevie WILL be relevent to these girls/guy by the time I'm through with them. Kind of a "Stevie Nicks sonic raping." Which never killed anybody, and is not punishable in a court of law.

I love it!, During the late 80's when I started college, and also worked at the big Sound Warehouse record store here in Denver. I would blare Stevie's and FM records every chance I had, which was a lot. By the time OSOTM came around, all my co-workers could not escape. They had it drilled into their heads. Esp. "Yeaaahhhhhhh it was a strainnnnnn on herrrr.....". "Wherrrrrrre in the worrrrrrrrrrlld did you come frooooooooooOM!

Remember Rocky Mountain Records in the Tabor Center downtown? For years I begged them to let me have or buy that Bella Donna cover poster that hung above their doorway. They always said no! I wonder where that is right now.

How funny, Yes, I remember that! Right after you exited the escalator going to the 2nd floor. It would make me stop in my tracks, and stand and stare. And start salivating. Lucky for me, through friends, and while I worked at Sound Warehouse, I obtained almost every poster from every Stevie solo album. I even got one of those TISL promo posters (where Stevie is sitting) they gave away at Tower Records! My personal favorites of the promo posters are The Wild Heart (Stevie hand tinted) feathers in her hair one & RAL's *huge* back pouty picture poster, both on heavy parchment poster paper! :xoxo:But I do love the TISL & OSOTM one's as well. Never got the Bella Donna one though, that's the only poster from Stevie's albums that I am missing.
