So tonight is really opening night although it wasnt supposed to be. This is the first time in SO many years that I have no clue what the setlist will be or what will happen during the concert. It is very exciting. I have never been able to not troll these boards and know exactly what was going to be sung during her shows. I will let you guys know after the show unless someone else already posts it. Here we go...cant wait to hear Stevie and Rod sing together. :D

It's a fun feeling :-) While I will always look at the message boards to see the setlist for opening night, I LOVE the opportunity to blindly go in, not knowing what song she might pull out surprisingly.

I remember going to opening night of the TISL, tailgating in the parking lot, and hearing Stevie soundchecking "Planets of the Universe." It was an awesome experience.

Have fun!

Opening nights are great, been to the opening night of "Enchanted" and "The Dance". The only downside (if there is one) is that sometimes the bumps aren't ironed out. But that's a minor complaint. It is cool to be completely surprised by the show though. I'm going this coming Sunday but I can't wait and will have already checked out the set list spoilers (as well as have gotten whatever boots exist by then!!)

I predict that Secret Love will be the 4th song in her set.

Does anyone else think Stevie might surprise us all and throw in a few hits she hasn't sang live for years? I was just wondering, seeing as it's a double-billed concert, so Rod's fans might not know... say, Fall From Grace or How Still My Love, but would know songs like Talk To Me or Rooms On Fire? Or would that just be me being overly-optimistic?

As much as she has toured over the last couple of years, she almost has to bring out at least one surprise song to keep it kinda new. I predict Whole Lotta Trouble or Rooms on Fire.

I'll try to post the set from my phone as it happens. Although I'm using the same device to record certain parts of the show, so there might be some delays in between. I just hope my battery holds up ;)

If it would make it any easier, you could text me the setlist and I could post it for you instead of you having to drain you phone battery using the web :)

Have a great time! I did the same thing when I saw her in 08 and it just made the show that much more special.

This would make sense! Therefor, it won't happen  I think she is just going to drop You Wreck Me, Rock and Roll, Face The Promise, and How Still My Love and then add in Secret Love around the 4th or 5th song and right after that Stop Draggin My Heart Around and Leather and Lace with Rod, and then finish the set. IDK if she will do an encore, but if she does she will probably do Love Is and maybe another song, which is the only place I could see her possibly pulling out a Talk To Me or Rooms on Fire, but I am not holding my breath. I think she will then disappear and not come back until Rod's encore in which they will probably do Reason to Believe and The First Cut Is The Deepest.

Oh I'm sure you would. I feel like you have more luck because it is an arena show. When I saw the Mac in NH in 2009 nearly the entire audience had a digital.

Should I start a new thread for this? Obviously, we need to post a spoiler alert in the title. Mods? Advice?

Does anyone have an idea of what time Stevie will start tonight? What is her usual start time? I can never remember.

On ticketmaster it says 7:30, but I know there's an opening act. I'm sure Stevie won't go on until 8:30.

Isn't it supposed to be some blonde chick named Stephanie or Stovepipe or Stevia or something like that?

If there is an opening act, this is going to be one long mofo of a show!

dude.. enjoy the show tonight! You will have a time - wish I was there.

Opening night of a tour is always exciting.. you know there has to be a few surprises - and to get to hear "Secret Love."

I went to Pittsburgh for the opening night of TISL and remember being floored when she opened with Stop Draggin' My Heart Around.. totally didn't expect it. Also, we got 6, yes 6 new songs from Trouble.. oh what a night!

Afterwards, we hung out in the parking lot listening to the show that Torri just captured.. what a treat..

Enjoy JohnL and all the other lucky fans who will be seeing Stevie tonight.. I'm there in spirit.

Lol I am not saying you are wrong, what I am saying is that most concerts I have been to are never on time! Therefore, if Stevie is scheduled to start at 7:30 and Rod at 8:45, I'm sure they won't actually hit the stage for about 10-15 minutes after that.

The members of the Mac are notorious for this. Even Lindsey at one show kept us waiting for 45 minutes after the time he was suppose to go on. Stevie took a fortnight in 2008 at the Pavillion in Boston. Sometimes, though, I think they just do it so people have enough time to get in their seats, beer runs, etc

^ I love the story from Cory B during SYW tour when Stevie & Lindsey were standing offstage discussing the need to wait for the sun to go down more before going onstage - and Mick and John were already out there! LOL! Cory was like pushing them out there, telling them too bad half the band is onstage! LOL!
