GREAT!! I hope Matt Lauer doesn't interview her agian, though. He asks the dumbest questions. Maybe Ann Curry will interview her.

I like Hoda. She seems genuinely nice. To me, Kathie is always dying to talk about her family too much and all I remember from them interviewing the last time was getting her weight loss wrong and saying her hands were sooo soft. Duh!

Being this on the release date ''Secret Love'' should be performed. I am hoping for another song from IYD , but as we all know that may be asking too much.

I wonder if it will be a Today Concert Series outdoor performance. I'm sure she'll play Secret Love. If it's an outdoor concert she'll play older songs too: If Anyone Falls, Edge of 17...just not stand back :laugh:

I'm guessing this is why she's playing AC on the 6th. maybe she'll have a NY show between the 3rd and the 6th or she'll do Fallon, Letterman, The View, Behar, whatever else is taped in NY.

Hmm, that is a good point! She is going to be in Chicago with Rod April 9, but she has the 7th and 8th off... I wonder if this is when they will be filming Oprah?

Actually, Matt did a more in depth interview (I think it was spread over 2 days) right after TISL was released in 2001 on the Today Show which was not bad. No performance, it was a pre-taped affair. I have it on VHS tape somewhere. I look all the time but have yet to see that interview show up on YouTube. Matt was fawning all over her, while Stevie was very sexy.

As much as I like the Today Show, I wish she would mix it up and go on Good Morning America. I used to love Today show, but GMA is better. I think Stevie is just loyal and she's been on the Today show so many times, it's more familer to her.
