Thanks for posting. I have collected so much stuff over twenty-something years, and I have been overwhelmed and disorganized as how to organize everything -- especially how to keep track of all the numerous takes of songs.

It's great that these lists name sessions dates. I think I'll just burn each CD as is, then at least I can isolate and identify different song takes, and choose the best takes to make distilled down complilation CDs.

Of course, I suspect some dates may not be accurate. For example, the Leather and Lace session are dated 1976. It may be possible, but did Stevie and Don actually start collaborating that early? Did they even know each other then?

Pretty sure they knew each other-- wasn't Don sending Stevie flowers and crap during the recording of Rumours? Excellent question, though-- I'll ask my source who put all this together.

Don & Stevie dated in 1976. During their dating, Don worked with Stevie on writing "Leather & Lace." As he listened to the various verses still being composed, he gave her feedback, according to Stevie in her 1980 radio interview for NBC Source.

Don may be the reason that the song is so conventionally & carefully structured in the strophic manner -- something completely atypical for Stevie Nicks.

The Master Reels have a fantastic 6:11~minute outtake of "The Nightmare", an outtake of "Some Become Strangers" (with extra lyrics), plus single mixes of "I Can't Wait".

About a year ago I decided to get one! I just dump everything on it. The huge task ahead is to systematically organize everything and makeg sensible compilations to burn on discs. This might take lifetime or two! Especially trying identify and weed out replications, and try to figure out various terms, titles redundancie and miss-labeling: is this a demo, is this an outtake, is this an alternative mix, what show is this live track from...etc...it's insane!

It's a blessing and a curse. In the ancient days of trading cassette tapes through the mail, you obtained and processed things at a slow pace. And there wasn't as much out there. Now, within minutes, you're overwhelmed huge amounts of material. And it keeps on coming!

"19 minutes in length. Features a very slow piano demo of the song "Julia" with talking in between takes. Stevie mentions that this song is brand new several times throughout the session. She is arguing quite a bit with Shelly Yakus in the studio over it being 3 o'clock in the morning, and asks for Robin to come into the studio with her. This was recorded the night after "Julia" was written."

No, the stuff she's posting does not have the Street Angel version of "I Call You Missing". She doesn't have a new cache of Stevie Masters. None of these are new or "discovered" recently. These are the exact same ones we bought and had transfered in 2001~2005, and shared with the world. The "a capella"s are proof, because we created those in the studio, taking the music away from Stevie's voice from the tracks.

"I Call You Missing" was absent from the Street Angel Masters, even though it was on the label.

I'm very glad Daniella is posting these to get more fans these wonderful songs of Stevie's, but the work was done in 2001~2005. It's not new in the least.

I just listened to the Starshine Silver reel, and LOVED it! It was awesome to hear Stevie/TP and others talking things through and just having fun. I like the part during take 3 where Tom tells her not to sing during the organ/guitar solos, and she says "well, I don't know what the solo is!" haha.
