OMG, so many vampires! Even a young Stevie vampire, which means there's an old Stevie vampire too (but then again, vampires are immortal, so they don't age, right?) :shrug: . The "Moonlight" video sounds like a sh**storm of epic proportions! I thought it was a serious song, but this sounds utterly campy.

Thanks for posting! I'm thrilled that they have so many videos and interviews in the pipeline! :blob1: I get the suspicion that there will be a story arc that unites these videos... although "Italian Summer" is a bit of a puzzle since it is not listed on any of the schedules. :shrug:

Well... it's a two-camera shoot with one gaffer, a horse, a fire dancer and a few extras at Stevie's homes. :shrug: This is not exactly The Ten Commandments. My main concern is that the videos will all have the same look/feel since they are all being shot simultaneously. And just how, I wonder, will they capture "Italian ambience" in Pacific Palisades?

I do love how lunch hour is at 6PM. :lol: Only in my dreams.

Your right. I don't think they spent a mint and it's not a very long shoot. Props aren't that much. And interns are easy to get because of the lack of jobs. They may have only spent 50 to 100k on this thing, if that.

Maybe the idea is that each video is supposed to flow into the next, like the sequencing of the songs on the album.

As someone who works production - I'd be pissed to have a call sheet with my cell phone # on it made public. I'm surprised someone in production would do this. It's totally not cool. Maybe the person is not directly involved and doesn't know any better. At least the numbers could have been blacked out.

Actually - the picture, the first one, looks very much like Stresa, Italy (Lombardi region / Laggo Maggiore). I was there on vacation in September - it's crawling with bouganvillea, oleander and statues.

And that's what is so precious about them. For "Moonlight," I just cannot see how it could be anything but campy. And I was under the assumption that it was going to be sort of like Annie Lennox's "Love Song for a Vampire" in the sense that it was not specifically about vampires- just merely inspired by one. I thought the song was about loneliness and longing... but the video is gonna have a garden full of vampires. WTF??

IMO true camp is unwitting..I'm sure King Vidor and those involved in the 1949 campfest "Beyond the Forest" expected it to be a serious film instead of one of the most uproariously campy spectacles ever seen.I agree though low budget ,novice film makers and vampires surely has to add up to some kind of camp and if it is played seriously..maybe we'll be getting a camp classic for all time!.:blob2:

Not necessarily. I know that the Eurythmics were really, really into making videos; in fact, I believe they released "video album" versions of Savage and We Too Are One. And I think Annie Lennox also released a Diva video album as well. So I suspect Dave managed to twist her arm into doing something similar.

Another thing I have noticed is some artists filming video snippets of songs to be used as part of a sizzle reel or documentary; not necessarily as a stand-alone piece. That's really low-budget. Typically it's nothing more than them sitting/standing in a lush, pastoral setting and lip synching. I seriously hope that is not being done here! But from what I can tell, only five of the eight songs listed have a proper filming schedule with props, actors, costumes and special effects ("Everybody Loves You," "Wide Sargasso Sea," "Secret Love," "Moonlight," "Annabel Lee"). Still, that's an incredible number of videos to look forward to. I would squee with delight if they were all released as part of a deluxe IYD package. :nod:

That's a good tip for all the people in their twenties and thirties. Adopt a wild, grungy look that tends to obscure your facial features when you're young and when you get older, you'll always look the same age.

It also works because Waddy hasn't gained weight.

Actually if you look at the picture of Stevie on the bed in the 2005 article you see on left hand side..grass with stepping stones and compared to the new picture of her in the full length dress in the garden for In your Dreams has the same. . they are the same place.

That picture of her in the garden is absolutely from the house in the palisades. and then we all know she has her condo in S.M from sure.

She was renting the house you're talking about and it was also in P.P., I believe.

Really? I would bet house. She did a tv interview there too where she played the piano in the foyer. I was thinking we've never seen pics of the condo - besides the real estate photos of another unit in her building.

I saw them because I was the one who removed them... they listed both her Santa Monica condo and her Palisades house :).
