In 2001, my friend John G. sent me a Stevie Compilation CD with this version of "Sisters Of The Moon" on it. I remember writing on the insert "Stevie OVERDUBS!!!!!" :)

I lost this CD in a move in 2006 before I thought to upload it. I'm SO grateful to Sparky for finding this version of "Sisters Of The Moon" and posting it. I'm glad my memories of this song were correct. ;)

Now that I think of it, on this same CD, John had a few other things I thought were very different:

"Dial The Number" ~ From The Wild Heart sessions, but not the version I have right now. A different vocal, not as rambling (Not any of the versions from The Other Side Of The Mirror).

"Storms" ~ A fast-paced demo, with a drum machine.

HI Mike

are any of these the version of Dial the number you were after

If not let me know and I'll have another look - i like this now trying to track down tracks that people want - not everyone mind

[mikebise]

I will get back to you on "Dial The Number" and "Storms" after I DL them, but here's another:

"Julia" from The Wild Heart in clearer form. NONE of the 20 or so Master Reels versions from Bella Donna are this version, NONE. This is 6:40 version, where Stevie sings "She does two things" a LOT instead of the "She would suffer for the love" line in the chorus. It's on Uncirculated Rumours in very poor sound quality, but I got a MAJOR upgrade in 2005 but never uploaded it before I lost my CDs in the move.

I've downloaded several of varying sound quality of "Julia" from The Wild Heart, but none are as good as the one I briefly had in 2005.

[76sparky]

Julia - again i hope its the right version

This sounds very clear, i have a slightly longer version but that is the same version but crap sound

[mikebise]

That's IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

My FAVOURITE SONG and FAVOURITE VERSION of it!!!! Thanks!!!!

"JULIA"

[mikebise]

Yes, the Poets, Priests & Legends version of "Dial The Number" is what I was looking for!!!! Amazing!!! Thanks again!!!!

[starshine]

Just wondering are any of these versions on You Tube so I could listen to them?? Anyone know? Just wondering. Thanks!!

[silvasprings]

That's IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

My FAVOURITE SONG and FAVOURITE VERSION of it!!!! Thanks!!!!

"JULIA"

There is a link in the Demo's Thread to a better quality version of this, I'm listening to it right now, the version I have is within a zip file titled

Stevie Nicks Demos and Outtakes #13 Master Reel Compilation 1-20-86

~ "Julia (slower outtake)"~

There are two discs, it is on disc 1. The quality on this file is great and much better than that already posted.

I'm so glad I opened this thread because I had previously overlooked this amazing version of Julia!!! It's now replaced the faster version as my definite favorite. Her voice seems to carry much more emotion and I just love the piano in the background.

I'd post this file myself but I have no idea how to, PM me and I can send it to you.
