That's not a bad Debut. I think. (I know nothing of the American charts)

And SL moved up 6 spots to number 33 on the American Music AC Chart this week. It's the radio airplay chart. That's not bad.

Stevie's going to have a huge hit on her hands before she knows it.

Stevie will be asked to perform on the Grammys -- without Taylor Swift.

It's actually incredibly good. The AM AC chart is powered by Mediabase, which monitors over 1,700 radio stations in 150 top U.S. markets.
Typically, songs move up the Adult Contemporary chart at a snail's pace since AC stations are slow to add songs to their playlists. Songs on the AC chart have much longer lifespans on those stations than songs on the top 40 charts.
"Secret Love" should do well on AC and AAA formats. It's doubtful that Top 40 stations will add the track since the format simply does not play music from women over the age of 30. Adele doesn't need Top 40 to be #1 and neither does Stevie.

Maybe this single will do better than Everyday. I think it only peaked at #14 on the AC charts. When you are in the top #5 on AC that is a big deal, because that means the song is getting significant spins, usually in the thousands. I hope she makes it that far.
