Well, it's a good video. I didn't vote for it - but I'm ok with it winning.

Really, though, I just wish Stevie made more videos!

Stand Back (Scarlett Version) was by far the best quality of Stevie's 80s vids. She looked gorgeous in Everyday.

Rooms on Fire has pontential, but is marred by cheesiness

Was this based on her solo videos or solo and FM? I personally think Gypsy is the best video. Stevie was acting, or at least trying to and that's priceless!

Agreed, Gypsy is the best video she's ever been involved in, it's totally beautiful.

I loathe the Rooms on Fire video though, there's just something about it that makes me go... eww.

Well, I completely dislike the Rooms on Fire video, personally. But it's interesting to see the outcome of this!

I like regular Stand Back for the laughs. As far as just videos that Stevie's been involved in, FM or solo, I would pick Gypsy.

I never liked Stevie's whole OSOTM get-ups. Too clown-like and this video is reminiscent of that so I can't say I love the video but it's worth it because the song is so great. But yeah, Gypsy is by far the best video. My favorite part is when she runs out in the rain in the little hat and raises her arms and sings "enought to loooooove". That video is just so her and she looks so hot! Probably the closest thing we'll ever get to Stevie acting in a movie.

It wouldn't have been my initial pick to win, but the more I think about it, the more I think it's the right choice.
Sure, it's cheesy, but I get a kick out of that and I think it's surprisingly effective despite the cheese. In fact, I was completely neutral on the song until I saw the video and it clicked into place. Now Rooms on Fire is one of my favorites of her solo singles.

Now of course, we need to have one of these for FM videos! Sounds like it would be Gypsy's to lose.

My favorite solo video has always been Rooms On Fire. So glad to see that it won. I'm gonna miss this thread because it gave me another excuse to tell baboles that he's a major hottie.:xoxo:

Solo videos only. "Gypsy" is probably one of the greatest videos ever made (or at least in the top 100) in the history of music videos. IMO.

The vid for "Rooms On Fire" has always been one of my faves. It had more of a storyline than her earlier solo vids. It may be somewhat 'cheesy', but it is less 'cheesy' than most of her other early vids. The only other vid that I like as well is "Every Day".

Number 1 because I'm still on such a high from Saturday and so excted about all the new stuff we have to look forward to!

The video is very artsy and Stevie is herself, not a character.
