I just realized I've been on The Ledge for 10 years this month. God, I'm getting old. Haha!

I know! Louie and I are both comin' up on our "decade" anniversary. I can't believe it.;)

I passed 10 years a few months ago. I can't believe I was 16 when I joined, and now I'm well into my 20's. God, I hate being old. :mad:

Isn't it interesting to think how far we've all come personally since joining? I was an 18 year old college freshman, still very much a naive kid. And on the Mac front, Trouble in Shangri La, Say You Will, In The Meantime, Under The Skin, and Gift Of Screws had all yet to be released :).

I say we all post pics of when we joined vs what we look like now... should be entertaining! :D

I've only been on here just over 2 years although I've been a Mac fan for about 10 or so. 10 years ago I was 18 and I had just started uni and was living in halls... Oh man, 10 years ago?? What?!

That's crazy you guys have been here for 10 years. Me, I'll be approaching my year anniversary in 4 months and unfortunately, I haven't changed much since then (still short and mistakened for a high schooler, but I'm gonna be legal in August!)

I officially joined six years ago, lurked for about 2. But when I try to find a picture of me in 2005, I come up blank. I can't figure out what the heck I was doing then.

For me, I don't think I owned a digital camera, or a cell phone with camera, until probably 2005 or so. And I've always had bad scanner luck...

I now date every pic on my computer, with at least the month/year....

Thank you, Michelle...actually, I don't, though...there's WAY more "salt" than "pepper" in the hair & beard...there's less hair, but I'm disguising that fact by growing more forehead. And, I'm about 80 lbs heavier in the newer photograph. (it DOES look kind of weird that I'm not playing the Turner, though)

(Speaking of which, I'm using that latest photo as a "before" photo...it's "get serious with the diet" time...well, once I finish off the annual procurement of Girl Scout Cookies, that is. Can't resist those "Lemonades".:laugh:)

Yeah, it was 10 years for me last September. Hard to believe. I was so excited to join a message board, too. I actually joined this one & another one at the same time. The other one (for a different artist), not on there anymore. They changed it, & not much activity, so I didn't resign up again. This is the better one anyway & I'm not just saying that. :thumbsup: It really is. :nod:

I think I'm nearing the 10 year mark. Had a couple of years of hiatus and now I'm spotty with the posting. Lots of people that were here when I joined are now MIA.

You see a lot of these people at the "other" board(s). And boy are they bitter. Not only about the Ledge. But about life and music in general, it would seem. I just don't get it... if you don't like the Ledge, just disappear. Instead, some will go to another board to trash it. Some will re-appear briefly on the Ledge to complain about it, and then disappear again. Ledge-bashing is an obsession with some people; I just don't get it. :shrug: Waaah, it's not the same any more. Waaah, it's moderated too much. Waaah, waaah, waaah... Good riddance, I say. Eff them crybabies!
