For real!!! I love the matter of factness Stevie had in that interview. I think the next thing she said was, "it doesn't matter that he's married..." So, I can't help but love that quote - even in a sad way. Just the fact of knowing they know they will be in each other's lives forever. It's touching. Like Mick said, "it's a forever thing".

Yes, kinda.. according to Mick's book:

And so, almost exactly twenty years after Fleetwood Mac's debut at Windsor, the band's eleventh lineup hit the road in late September 1987. We had earlier introduced Billy and Rick at a press conference, and had worked for a month to craft our new show. Gone were most of Lindsey's signature tunes. Now the focus was on our girls, Chris and Stevie. Now we spent more time exploring the band's history.

That is the perfect way to close the list. I was laughing so hard at the image of Stevie on a hover scooter, a shawl hanging off the scooter and then the scooter spinning in place during Stand Back.

Here it is (http://rockalittle.com/article_bostonherald_mar6_09.htm) - she said that before the other quote...

This the first time I've seen these interviews. Great questions and answers. I especially love this question and response from Stevie - so insightful and candid. Her perspective on the dynamics of her relationship with Lindsey is very astute.

So much of your great stuff came out of the band being a mess. If you are all on great terms will it be harder to make a great album?

No. Lindsey and I and our tragic, uptight way of doing things to each other is still the same in so many ways. In many, many ways, Lindsey and I are still the same people that we were when we met at 16 and 17. There’s a part of our relationship that remains unchanged. It doesn’t matter that he’s married with kids. It doesn’t matter what my life is. When we’re together we can still be incredibly teenage. And we still write about each other a lot. We’re still great sources of inspiration for each other. When we’re 90, whoever goes first, the other one will be sitting on a bed alone. We’ll never run out of stuff to write about.

Very similar to what she said in 2013:

"Lindsey, we are a power couple. You have a wife and three kids. There’s nothing going on between you and me except that there will always be something going on between you and me. Until the day we die.’ Seventeen and sixteen. We’ve been together that long."
