I think Warner/Reprise truncated the title of the album. According to sources, the original title was 'Stevie Nicks will finish the Rhiannon Project...In Your Dreams.'

I'm still kind of stunned that she actually did a new album:shrug:Anyway I'm hoping the title song and the album are great .Historically she and Dave have had very good luck with the word dreams.."Dreams" the absolute commercial apex of Fleetwood Mac..and a great song to boot."Sweet Dreams(are made of this)"a starmaking transatlantic number one.One more that may be forgetten by most is the Stewart produced Daryl Hall top 5 1986 single "Dreamtime" a great song and as good as anything Hall and Oates ever did IMO.

Dave produced that? Wow. Very trippy music and video... Secret acid messages... ;)
I have faith in Stevie & Dave!

I liked "For What It's Worth" & "The Ghosts are Gone" a bit better... But there's nothing wrong with IN YOUR DREAMS either... It's still "Stevie" and I'm so glad to have the new music! :)

I quite like it, apart from the rather obvious / cliché use of the word "Dreams"
Although "IYD" is a better acronym for the album than FWIW or, worse, TGAG

I don't know...does it make anyone else think IUD? Because that's where my mind goes every time I see it.

Don't forget the Wonder Woman pilot greenlight from NBC, Mike!

That's right!!! SO looking forward to that! A whole Summer of Stevie and then the Wonder Woman pilot (and hopefully series!) in September!!! I'm geeking out!
And Brett Booth will be drawing Donna Troy's costume correctly in JLA... All is right in the world. Well, except that Hippolyta still needs to rejoin the Justice Society... ;)

Huge Superman fan/geek (delete as applicable) here - like Brandon with Batman - and I still do not see the need for this reboot. Superman Returns was an excellent as a reboot in itself. It did interesting things with the mythos while still respecting fans. It was similar stylistically to Superman (1978) and she next one would have been much more action oriented, which seemed to be a lot of people's problem. It's such a shame they're doing this. I'll still see it though!

Nice observation about the word "Dreams" symbolizing the commercial apex of both Stevie and Dave. I wouldn't be surprised if that was a factor in finally deciding on In Your Dreams as the title of the new album.

At this point, Mike, I'll just be happy if we have Hippolyta period. Enough with the NuDiana. Bring back RealDiana and her supporting cast. We'll cross the JSA bridge when we get to that. ;)

I loved watching WonderWoman when I was little in those 70's yrs but to me the only WW is Lynda Carter. I'm not so sure about his new series. The 'new' Bionic Woman was awful really--(too dark) Lindsay Wagner was the best in that series too. Guess Hollywood can't think up much new stuff to rehash the old stuff.
In regards to the new title of Stevie's new cd/lp. It still doesn't stand out with me. I was hoping for something more creative. I mean she's had like 10 yrs to think about this really. The new photos or what we've seen are OK too but again don't stand out to me. I do hope for something more when its finally released but I guess only time will tell.

Bionic Woman was one of my favorite shows when I was a child (I was born in 1982, so I only got to watch in re-runs). I went with my sister and a friend to a "Comic Con" convention in Chicago last year and Lindsay Wagner and Richard Anderson (Oscar Goldman) were both there. By chance I happened to catch her at the right moment in a temporary lull in people and she looked up, smiled and waved at me... made my day! Then walking by I saw Richard Anderson... nobody was talking to him and he was reading something. I didn't want to bother him, but as I walked by, he looked up, smiled and waved too! I'm kicking myself for not at least just saying "hello" because the opportunity will probably never present itself again, but it caught me by surprise and I didn't know what to say really. He looks great at 84, pretty much like he always did.
Lindsay Wagner and Lee Majors both talked about the dark and more violent tone of the remake series... I somewhat agree and was disappointed since I was looking forward to it. You can't produce a show with the same tone as those done in the 70's since it just wouldn't survive (or even be sold to any networks in the first place), but the show had little direction, seemed poorly cast and just could not compete stylistically with other shows that had similarly dark tones. A wasted opportunity...
Back on topic, I agree with those who are disappointed in the album title. But names/titles don't really matter so much to me... I'm just looking forward to hearing the music! :D

Really the 70's show had a lot of 'heart' back than at least to me it did. I really enjoyed it and loved it alot. I tried to like the new series but I just didn't care about any of the characters in it. If you don't care about the characters than you really don't care about the show. Yeah, the way they were back than just wouldn't fly now. Than there was still some innocence left at least in my childhood I did. Now kids know or seem to know everything. Which is really sad. I don't have children but its sad to me that they aren't allowed to be children in this techno day and age. You almost have to be an adult now. Shows also back than were written better than now I think. So much is just thrown together. Its really sad. At least IMO anyway. You should've went up to them. I would love to met anyone of them. I get your view on Stevie's title but I don't know I guess compared to her previous solo lp's the name just sits there. Of course 'dreams' is in the title but I guess its just to obvious to me. Anyway, thanks for your many thoughts. I enjoyed reading them.:D

I'm waiting to hear the song, "In Your Dreams," before I determine if it's suitable for the name of the entire collection. On paper, it's a bit blasé, but it might be a really rocking tune, or have a spin on the meaning depending on how she sings it.

Ok...do you remember these?
Scubadiving spin change?
Biker Chick spin change?
Or in the pilot...her spin was a transformation instead of an explosion?
I wonder what happened to the song, computer baby? That was written in the late 80s...talk about preminitions....
and her words on computers today. Sheesh. I can't breathe if I forget my stupid computer phone.

Wonder Wetsuit was my FAVORITE ancilliary costume for the TV series!!! But Debra Winger takes the award for the most unintentionally funny spin!

poor Debra looked like she was gonna spin into a tree during her change over. it wasnt graceful, just really fast. Lynda was a dancer, so her spins were elegant, even going down the side of a mountain. Poor "drew" couldnt even come close. Plus, her outfit's top was only made of spandex (Lynda's had wire support)... so as wonder girl, she had a LOT of giggle

Hahahaha.
Speaking of innocence her ponytail and glasses...great disguise.
Do you remember "he's a war hero..."
I'm shaking in my boots
Debra's spin would really piss off Stevie...excepint during Thr Rock A little tour era...
And Diana making her bullet bracelets fail on purpose so her could be a hero...
Here on Paradise Island...we are all Wonder Women...
I saw Debra spoof her old role on Letterman years ago...
