I've missed her so. Love hearing her, in her own words, describe the new album. :)

Like her attitude about the new record!

Indeed... it's neither totally manic and overreaching, nor is it self depreciating and negative. It's a happy medium. She's confident in her music, and doesn't seem to care about the rest. This tells me she might have finally found some peace about who she is. She's struggled this past decade with the degradation the old recording industry model, and her decreased stature in it. I'm really happy for Stevie... it sounds like recording this album has been so cathartic for her.

Interviewer: Did Rhiannon win?
Stevie: She did win, because she is still in the set.

I love her.

And I love the last part, "I hope the fans love this as much as I do." She's so sweet. I adore her, in case you didn't know. I wish I could hear the whole thing though
Ps. Thanks for posting John

It seems he has awaken something inside of her and has brought a positive attitude into her life. He is the anti- Don Henley in that regard. I hope this album will not be the last we hear from Stevie. I hope Stevie and Dave team up for more music.

Thank you for posting. Wow, Stevie sounds like she is in a good place right now.

I can just see Stevie smiling when talking about being a DJ working the graveyard shift.

She said this album is important because she said everything she wanted to say at this point in her life. I really liked when she said that.

Thanx for posting. She has done what SHE wanted to do. Staying true to yourself is most important, that kind of pride gives much pleasure and because of that, it sounds like she has put together one hell of an album. I can't wait to hear it.

Is it my imagination or does her speaking voice even sound more like her old self... speaking both sonically and also her cadence. Probably is just my imagination and my excitement over her new album... plus, as others have mentioned, her positive attitude and outlook over the new material. I enjoyed her little impromptu singing as well!

:woohoo:

Cool! I love to think of Stevie being a late night radio DJ! She could still totally do it... Tom Petty has a show on sirius/xm radio! So does Bob Dylan!

That's exactly what it seems. Stevie is very sensitive when it comes to her producers. Her producers are largely responsible for bringing out the best quality in her often raw material. She has spoken very frankly about her nightmare senarios with various producers with whom she had bad relationships. Dave was really a breath of fresh air to her, and the result is her happiness and a really fine album!
