View Full Version : Stevie Nicks & the Future - Speculation Thread

I thought it might be fun to have a thread about what each of us think the future may hold for Stevie, realistically speaking. She will be 63 this year and I'd say that she maybe has 7 more years left before she stops making music. Although she's said in the past that she would rock out on stage even if she was in a wheelchair. ;) Who knows? My own mother just turned 70 a few months ago and not only does she look like she's in her early 50's but she still runs 5 miles a day and has a full time job. Stevie could be doing this for a lot longer than we think.
I'll start...
I think after "In Your Dreams" comes out, she'll tour and then rest. If the rumours are true that there will be another Mac album, I think they'll go directly into recording and touring for that. If it happens, I truly think it will be the LAST Fleetwood Mac album.
Afterward will be up in the air. We know Stevie's track record the past 17 years as far as her solo work has been concerned. But if Dave Stewart (the man with a million projects) has been an influence on her, maybe that will light a fire under her to start a new solo project as soon as possible. I personally believe that Stevie could have two more solo albums after "In Your Dreams".
Then there will inevitably come the time when she will retire from the music business. It is then that she will start to work on the OFTEN TALKED ABOUT Autobiography. Along with this, if the passion to do something with the Rhiannon movie is still within her, I think she will finally get serious about that as well. All of that would depend on getting backed by a big film studio or production company. I really don't think the "Goldfish & Ladybug" cartoon, which she has also talked about a lot, will ever come to fruition.
This is just my opinion of course. I'm interested to hear what you all think about her future.

At least five more tours to make enough money. Sorry, this whole Rod Stewart thing has put me in a cynical mood.
Hopefully some re-issues with bonus tracks/unreleased demos and another FM boxed set that includes new songs. I doubt there will be another FM album (although I'm still hoping).
A short North-American FM tour (if only to make some money for everyone involved).
A decent re-recording of Lady From the Mountain (once again, sorry, I know I am obsessive about that song).

I sorta don't know how she can end her career and not do a good recording of Three Birds of Rhiannon or Lady from the Mountain. I don't really want a Rhiannon album. She's used a lot of the Rhiannon songs anyway. Just do those two songs. I like China Doll and Love You Enough too, but those songs are just two songs she HAS to do.

I think a lot will depend on the success of this new album and tour. She probably sets a fairly high standard for success, ànd if this one doesn`t make her a certain amount of money, she`ll not make another. Tours, yes, but not new releases. If this one is successful by her standards, maybe one more, but I am not banking on that. She`s had basically 2 releases of new material in the past 20 years (SA & TISL)... What FM does in the future god only knows, but I expect more nostalgia work rather than another SYW-type project.

I do think for new music solo cd's this will be her last solo cd and possible another FM cd with a tour.

Barring some kind of major health issue, I think Stevie will never retire. Sure, she may slow down, but I am of the opinion that she will die on stage. In the spotlights. Made up and dressed to the nines. As long as she's got "her people" - Waddy, Lori, Sharon, Karen, et al. - she will carry on forever.

I predict Stevie will debut a new song with video at halftime on Super Bowl Sunday.
In Your Dreams will out sell every record released in 2011.
She will tour the entire planet for 2 years straight.
Buckingham Nicks (1 and 2) will get a CD release and a tour.
She will then record and release a new album every 2 years for the next 6 years. (with a tour for each release)
She will then retire from touring.
After that she will release a series of box-sets of all her demos remastered.
All of her solo CDs will be remastered and re-issued with bonus DVDs of concerts/recording studio footage for each album/era.
Stevie will do the Rhiannon album, but not the movie.
She will then write childrens books (Goldfish and Ladybug being her first).
She will write and publish her book at age 80.
After that ...im not sure.

I also think that she will continue to perform.
almost undoubtedly though, there are books and art
and many more official stevie works to be published.
yes though, to the nines.

In relative terms, she has not been a very productive artist, especially in the last twenty years, aside from touring. Lots of projects (that we know of) have never come to fruition.
It's nice to think that, given her age, that she would feel that the window of opportunity is getting slimmer, and now is the time to ramp up the effort to do all the things she wanted to do, and release more material to add to her legacy.
Unfortunately, I don't anything will change. Half-decades go by in a wisp.
Only when she dies will we get a bounty of material. Her family estate and the record companies will mill through all of her stuff. We'll get DVDs, Remastered albums, and "New" CDs of "vault" material.

In Your Dreams will be her last full studio album.
There will be one final Mac studio album. My guess is it'll be released sometime in the next 3-5 years.
Stevie will likely keep touring regularly into her 70s.
There will never, ever be an autobiography. Or a Rhiannon movie. Or a Goldfish & Ladybug cartoon. Et al.
Stevie may record duets/backing vocals for buddies here and there for some time. She may do a soundtrack song or two again. But her recording days otherwise will be over very soon.
It's possible Stevie may finally get Buckingham Nicks released and do some sort of farewell tour with Lindsey at some point down the line.

Totally agree, but I would push the Mac album up by a year or two...
Maybe she'll get married? can you imagine, she goes to Arizona Heart for a benefit, and a tremendously, insanely rich, old guy is there looking to unload some millions. They strike up a friendship, and yes, officially in the gossip rags they will say "we're just good friends."
Then, out of nowhere, we'll read about a private wedding "attended by a few friends and family." The marriage will last a few years, but then maybe end in divorce. Stevie walks away with a fortune somewhere around 150 million bucks. She dedicates the remainder of her life to charitable causes and society functions. When Stevie dies, she leaves it all to Jessica, who pees it away on self-funded short films, albums, a line of home tattoo kits and circus equipment.
In all seriousness, I think if in the future Stevie wanted to stop recording and touring, she could make a fortune with a line of witchy, feminine home furnishings and accessories sold on QVC. Raise your hand if you'd pay $100 for an acrylic (but faithful reproduction) of Stevie Nicks' famous blue lamp? Or a line of white lily-of-the valley scented Stevie candles? A white shag rug, like in the Wild Heart insert? Especially if she spent an hour every week on QVC chatting with the hosts and fondling the products and giving the back-story to them? Of course you would!
:lol::lol::lol:
Only problem with the QVC idea - they'd never get her to shut up in an hour! ;)

This is my hope. That Stevie realizes the world still loves her and still wants her music and that she has gotten over her fear of making a new album and decides she needs to make as much music as she can while she can. Stevie is only 63, so unless she has an untimely death, it will not be her last album. Reason being, she has already dedicated so much of the last ten years on her past works that it will not bode well for the next ten years. I think after this tour is over, she will head into the studio with Fleetwood Mac and I would not be shocked if Chris joined them for the record. Why do I say this? Because Christine would have been there for SYW, she just would not be there to tour, but they said no. I do believe the next Mac album will probably be the last, so to get the Rumours line up together for one last album would be the most preferable way of doing things. The album will come out in 2013 and they will probably tour thru 2014 without Christine. After that she will go back to her solo career and do some more solo shows. I do hope she will take the opportunity in late 2014 or early 2015 to start working on another solo album since she and the mac will have nothing new to promote. If so, it will come out in late 2015 or 2016 and she will tour for that. Then in 2017, I am sure they are bound to release some kind of Fleetwood Mac Greatest Hits package, which the Mac will probably tour behind. Then after that, who knows? Ten years will have gone by since Crystal Visions, so I am sure someone somewhere will be cooking up another Stevie Nicks greatest hits. Possibly one that includes her work from both Mac and solo. I think after that she will either embark on another solo album or dive into some of her other projects, such as her autobiography or her poetry book. I don't think Stevie will ever announce her retirement from the music business. She is always going to be involved and always planning on doing another album until she dies.

Stevie will never give up her music/songs. After all, they are like her children and you don't simply abandon your children because you get old. Yes, she will stop performing due to physical limitations but she'll always be an artist at heart whether it be drawing or needlepoint and when she can't use her hands anymore she'll dictate the words to Karen. The point is, she will never stop creating. It's who she is and once she stops it's all over...
Maybe she'll end up an old lady alone on some Hawaiian island with all of the money and possessions one could ever want or need but be lonely and ask herself what it was all for. I hope that's not the case.
If I had one wish for Stevie it would be for her to find eternal love. The one she's described in her songs for all of these years. One that doesn't necessarily even exist in this life. It could be with a man or within herself knowing the huge impact she has made on this world and all the lives she's forever changed. Her legacy will long outlive her mortal life and she will continue to be the gypsy that remain in our hearts for generations to come. I hope she passes in peace and understands the magnitude of how many lives she's enriched along the way.
Why did I just turn this into a death thread? Sorry....

They are all capable of making music and good music and could go on doing that for quite some time... I think their will to go on in the business will have to be stronger then the forces around them possibly telling them they may be too old... there's no place for you.. there's not a big enough audience for you etc. etc.
I can't honestly say I believe there will be another FM album, but I'll bet they'll be out on the road... hopefully if nothing new comes out they at least remaster some of their older material and concentrate on that... Band material and solo material.
As for Buckingham Nicks. I partly think the reason nothings been done on it is Stevie and Lindsey started with BN... and I think when they both realize the end is near and it's getting close to calling it a day - they will end with it.. Rereleasing it and making that their final statement.

I agree with this. I have my hopes for what Stevie may do in the next 5-10 years, but I do believe that she and Lindsey will "come full circle" and go out with Buckingham Nicks album and tour, just like they came in.
I can just picture Stevie saying to Linds (like the Clinton inauguration thing) in the big scheme of our lives we just HAVE to do this! And Lindsey loves cycles and circles, so I'm sure he'll go along!

I think In: Your Dreams (or is it In Your Dreams....I've seen it listed both ways) will be the last solo album with new material. I think there will be another FM album, but it will probably be the last, too. As much as I like the idea of Stevie and Lindsey ending their career doing a Buckingham Nicks type project/ rereleasing BN, I don't think it will happen. I think Stevie will then put together the book of her art like she has talked about doing before. I think she will also write her autobiography. Her last project will be to release the Rhiannon works, but not re-do them, just the originals. She will work with someone to produce the 'Rock and Roll Ballet' she has often talked about. It will be about the story of Rhiannon and include all of the Rhiannon songs.
I think that Stevie will continue touring for the next few years. I hope that she doesn't sign up to be a part of a lilith fair or true colors type of collaboration like some other older rockers do. Nothing wrong with this I suppose but I'd rather see my Stevie do '"not a tour" tours and random special events. They kind of make me sad for some reason. She'll probably tour until she physically can't anymore.
FM will pull together one more album but it won't be all new music. They will throw in some BN and a couple new songs each and then remaster some remastered stuff. I wish they had to start fresh and actually make the album together. What most people like about the Rumours album is that it's a direct reflection of what was going on in the personal lives of the band members. As they continued to make albums together and each of them pursued lives outside of the band, they grew apart and I think their music reflects that. It'd be nice to get a final reflection of FM...and they might as well pull in some BN...as they attempt to complete the cycle of circles.
They will tour a few more times, one of which will be the farewell tour that Chris joins them on for some dates. That would be coming full circle as FM. And since FM without Chris is basically BN, Stevie and Linds are pretty much right back where they started...if they add some BN songs on a new FM album and then play one of them during the second farewell tour...then bam! they are full circle as BN.
I wonder if Stevie or Linds has a clue at how much their fans want them to do something BN related? I mean, do they really really really know? I also wonder if Stevie will ever take me up on that invitation to come hang out at my house....We can cast spells on my cats, one of which is named Nicks, while we cook up steaks and nacho dip and discuss the changes in Zodiac signs and burn sage and nagchampa. She will like me so much that she will give me her bling bling crescent moon necklace and also let me have my choice of shawls.

I teared up after reading this. What a wonderful thought.
I predict, & agree with Louie that this is her last studio album. If not, there will only be no more than one more.
The Mac will start a new album next year & tour, & then they'll be done making records more than likely.
She'll write the autobiography, but it won't have the details we were hoping for, though it may have just a few.
Stevie will die in peace, with me holding her hand. The End.

So many great ideas in this thread.
I too feel that In Your Dreams will be her last album as a solo artist. I'd like to believe that there will be another Fleetwood Mac album; I don't see it happening organically, but rather as a calculated business decision that leaves both Stevie and Lindsey unsatisfied. SYW part 2, if you will.
I do hope that someday Stevie and Herbert will get together and publish that picture book they've talked about for decades.
Unforunately, I don't think we'll see reissues or collections of unreleased songs until she's passed on.

I predict that sometime in the not-too-distant future, there will be the technology to re-create Stevie's singing voice using samples of her vocal recordings. Roger Ebert is already using this sort of technology with his spell-n-speak device. Dear Buddah, let's hope Jessica James does not sully her aunt's legacy with something like this.

The following is my opinion on this. So here it is...
This is sad...Many many times Stevie has said "I've never gotten to make the record I want to make" and I hold out hope for this "Masterpiece" and I'll be generous here...Pre '90ish Stevie or even better pre RAL...All those wonderful Songs/Demo's/Lyrics...The Stevieness of that era...All rolled into one great Stevie album...I think she still has it in her...Yes that voice is gone but she can still give us some great vocals...It's been said that truckloads of money have been spent ruining Stevie's songs...And this record (In Your Dreams) will be one of the final attempts at the commercialization of Stevie Nicks...I pray I'm wrong about this and Secret Love is something Warners has thrown us to generate Buzz about In Your Dreams...And something spectacular awaits us...We shall see...Unless Stevie has put a new battery in her miracle ear and hears the "clock" of her career ticking loudly...I don't see Stevie or the MAC doing anything significant...There may be one last great Buckingham/Nicks outing...Other than that there have been far too many wasted opportunities...Currently Bella Donna 30 year anniversary...in a previous thread it was mentioned that Bella Donna is very close to what "Country " is nowadays...Why not release a 2 disc 30 anniv set: Disc 1 Bella Donna Remastered...Disc 2 Bella Donna Remastered and remixed to give it a bit more of a country feel...If done right it might do well on the charts...Will it happen? don't hold your breath...Another lost opportunity...Will she retire? prob not...

I really do feel this is Stevie's last Studio Solo album In Your Dreams she filmed the making of this record too so my guess it would be her last and maybe another FM new album in the future and another last tour with FM. I also see a maybe or possible tour Buckingham Nicks tour in the future if they re-release the Buckingham Nicks and tour as Buckingham and Nicks see that happening you know they each having there own bands and doing seperate solo sets and then a set dedicated to Buckingham Nicks and singing the entire Buckingham Nicks album would be awesome to see.

I agree with many others here--In Your Dreams is probably her last solo outing, and I think there's a good chance for one last FM CD.
I disagree with the consensus on BN, though--I don't think it will ever happen, unfortunately. I won't be shocked if they put it on iTunes, but anything like a tour would stun me.
I don't get the feeling Lindsey and Stevie love touring together, so this isn't something they would do just for their own enjoyment. They would have to have strong financial or artistic motivations, and I don't see either of those.
A BN tour might do reasonably well financially, but it wouldn't begin to approach a FM tour. Sure, we would love it, but we're a pretty small section of their fanbase.
And while both have said for years that they'd love to see BN rereleased, I've never gotten the sense they see it as their best work--something that the public has to hear. They sound far more passionate about their recent work, solo and in FM. Even if they were to decide they have enough money and their sole goal is artistic fulfillment, both would find more satisfaction in playing new material than BN.
It would be nice to see them come full circle, and I think Stevie and Lindsey might find that aspect of it appealing. But ultimately, I think they'd choose another FM tour every time. I think money is the main motivator these days, and they're probably more comfortable touring with John and Mick anyway--both see Mick as an ally.

I'm so tired of the whole Buckingham Nicks mystique. It's been thirty ficking years of Fleetwood Mac audiences & radio DJs clamoring for it, & thirty years of Buckingham & Nicks promising to release it "one of these days," & thirty years of broken assurances & cock teases, & thirty years of clamoring for it all over again (accompanied by a career-capping tour). On & on it goes, endlessly, like the ebb & flow of the tide.
What a boring movie. When Fleetwood Mac tours these days, isn't that Buckingham Nicks?!
I don't even think the album deserves its artistic stature. I think the latter is almost wholly a function of its ridiculous & labyrinthine history. The album's style of orchestrating, the lack of punch in the recording of the drums, & the braying female lead vocalizing all make the whole thing sound like just an ordinary relic of hippies in the early '70s.
Sorry I can't care about it. Give me a live album from the late Tusk tour over Buckingham Nicks any day.

Do you think she's braying? To me that connotes something that's overpowering and aggressive. I hear more mew than bray. What she's doing on BN is annoying and too high, to an extent, but my problem is that it doesn't seem fully formed. It's inchoate and doesn't realize the force that Stevie's voice really had back then.

Unless she becomes uncharteristically prolific, releasing several solo albums (perhaps with "vault songs") in the next few years, I don't see any new output from her after this solo album.
There was a two-year time span between her first three albums. Now it's decade since her last album. Only if she attains perpetual mortality will she be making another album in another ten years.
Sadly, only after her death will we see new product.

Seriously? I wouldn't rule it out. I only worry a bit that the naked cash-grab of the Rod link-up might dissuade Dave S. from bothering to try and encourage her to take a more low-key but edgier approach.
I sometimes think that way more people take Stevie way more seriously than she does. She could really explore all those great vault songs, in interesting stripped-down settings, and be a cool vintage act.

I watched the youtube version of 'Fall From Grace' from the Atlantic City stop of 'Not A Tour' today- I wonder if she's done with the song, now.
I always loved the song on the cd, and the several times I saw her perform it.
Watching it today, I realized I don't love the song, anymore. It just kind of gets lyrically too bogged down on stage now, she's almost a decade older and the song seems too much for her to sustain-I kept waiting for the high notes near the end. I think the song is a little demanding on audiences, too, for the 2011 tour and 'speculate' if it will be cut.
Also, I speculate that maybe it wasn't a great choice for a set opener, though I admire her for mixing the set up. Those who saw 'Not A Tour', was 'Fall From Grace' a good choice as opening song?
I wonder what may "r.i.p." for her 2o11 performances to make room for the new material?
Oh, and speculation, I think it was- for her tour with Rod, will she preview 2 new songs from the cd? That is a guess I'd make.
Then, for her later solo summer tour, I'd guess she will perform 5 of the 'In Your Dreams' tracks.

Also, I speculate that maybe it wasn't a great choice for a set opener, though I admire her for mixing the set up. Those who saw 'Not A Tour', was 'Fall From Grace' a good choice as opening song?
I speculate what may "r.i.p." for her 2o11 performances to make room for the new material?
Oh, and speculation- for her tour with Rod, will she preview 2 new songs from the cd? That is a guess I'd make.
Then, for her later solo summer tour, I'd guess she will perform 5 of the 'In Your Dreams' tracks.
I think two would be a good guess. I mean, it is Stevie Nicks, so I would not be surprised one bit if it was the same set she did in 2010 with a few songs sliced out and the guitar intros shortened. However, she should debut two new songs: Secret Love and another new one. That way she gets the feel of performing 1 "new" song that people will already know and then another new song people have never heard, that way she can see how the crowd reacts. I think the crowd will completely love it and this will encourage her to do 4 or 5 new ones for the summer tour.

I speculate that Stevie solo and with Fleetwood Mac will travel to Japan, be paid very highly and find an audience that's been waiting for them. At one time, Stevie had a growing presence in Japan, beginning in the 80s, hence her eventual 'Hard Game To Play' Japan-only mini-compilation release, and then there was the expanded Japanese 'Street Angel' cd. Maybe it could be a big deal, a return to Japanese audiences. I think she dropped the ball with her Asian fan-base after 'The Dance' and it would probably be very lucrative for her to reclaim the market. Hell, it's been lucrative for Janis Ian and Rita Coolidge, their Japan fan base was probably 95% of their careers after they were abandoned by US audiences, long ago.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that Stevie as a solo recording or touring act ever really "broke through" hugely in England, so I think any touring there would be with Fleetwood Mac. It seems there's a huge audience still for Stevie and for FM in Australia and New Zealand, and I think we will see them going where the gigs pay the highest and those two countries I think will be big for their international resurgence, if there is to be one.
I speculate a lot rides on the tour with Rod, the reception to the cd in May, and the tour she does to support it. It could be her biggest year in many, many years.
I still see Japan on her horizon, though. Diana Ross was as huge in Japan in the 80s and 9os as she was in the US in the 60s and 70s and earned a fortune touring there for more than a decade. SN is only four years younger, it would be smart for her to get the huge arena money she potentially may still be able to draw with a proper return to Japan audiences.
I think SN and management will get very clever in getting her top dollar from strategic markets for the next five or 6 years.
I rather doubt there will be big US or international tours for SN or FM when they are in their 70s, in 7 years or so.
Guessing.

Stevie did 6 new songs for the TISL tour, but I don't expect to get that many this time around, although I hope I'm wrong. Realistically, she'll probably do 2 or 3 all lumped in with the old set list. I speculate that the songs she will drop to make room for the new ones will be "Fall From Grace" (because she will never drop "Sorcerer" ever), "Rock And Roll" and "Face The Promise". In fact I'm REALLY hoping she drops those last two covers!

Agreed. You Wreck Me, Face The Promise, Rock & Roll, Fall From Grace/Sorcerer, and How Still My Love need to go. Not that they aren't great live, or great songs to begin with, but she needs to drop quite a few songs to spice up this setlist and we know she isn't dropping any of the staples. The reason I put FFG/Sorcerer is because I think she needs to leave a TISL song in there other than just Love Is, but she should def drop one of them. All the covers need to go for sure. They were a nice way to change up the set when she didn't have anything new to promote, but now that we have new, we need room for it. I also wouldn't mind if she dropped If Anyone Falls or Gold Dust Woman. In Stevie's mind, they are in the "hit" category, but I think if she replaced them with Rooms On Fire, Talk To Me, Seven Wonders, or Gypsy nobody would notice. And I would love to have her throw Gypsy back into her solo mix because I always loved the solo versions better live than the Mac ones. Especially if she sings the "I still see your bright eyes... I can't find you." Or did an acoustic version. Plus, it'd be a recognizable hit. All in all tho, that leaves 6-7 spaces which I think could be filled with 3-4 new songs and then a few old songs she hasn't done in the past ten years/ever. Now this would be my dream, but alas, it is wishful thinking.

I'm resurrecting this thread after 3 and a half years. It's extremely fascinating to read everyone's perspective on Stevie/Fleetwood Mac's future back then. Especially since IYD hadn't even been released at the time. Most of us thought it would be her last studio album, and that Fleetwood Mac "might" have one more record to release, which of course STILL might be the case.
Since then, we've gotten "Extended Play"(however lackluster it was) and are on the eve of a new studio album (WITH CHRIS ~ I never thought that would happen. Good call, John Irving!) plus a new Stevie solo record.
The question NOW is... seeing as how some sort of fire has been lit with both Stevie and the Mac, do you still think the future of their careers to be the same AFTER these projects have run their course? Or do you think both Stevie (solo) and Fleetwood Mac will continue to release more material in the next 5-10 years?
My personal opinion is that this "could be" Fleetwood Mac's last studio album (I'm sure they'll tour every other year till the cows come home) but I could see them doing at least 1 more studio album after this next one. Possibly in 2017 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of "Rumours". They could pull off 2 more studio albums after this new one, but that might be a stretch (and wishful thinking on my part) because 3/5ths of the band will be entering their late 70's in just 5 short years.
If she wanted to, Stevie could get away with releasing 2 or 3 more solo albums in the next 10 years. In my original post in this thread, I speculated that she might work on the Rhiannon movie/album project. I now think this will never come to fruition. I do, however, think she WILL finally sit down with a co-writer/editor someday and give us the autobiography we've been waiting decades for. But this probably won't be till her mid to late 70's.
What do you guys think? Do you still stand by your opinions from years ago, or do you think the recent developments of this past year might have changed things?

Then there will inevitably come the time when she will retire from the music business. It is then that she will start to work on the OFTEN TALKED ABOUT Autobiography. Along with this, if the passion to do something with the Rhiannon movie is still within her, I think she will finally get serious about that as well. All of that would depend on getting backed by a big film studio or production company. I really don't think the "Goldfish & Ladybug" cartoon, which she has also talked about a lot, will ever come to fruition.
This is just my opinion of course. I'm interested to hear what you all think about her future.
I hope more new music, the re-release of all her albums with bonus tracks, and new box set that will include the one-off songs released since Enchanted, such as If You Ever Did Believe, and You Can't Fix That.
I really not interested in autobiography; she would need an accomplished co-writer, which is usually very common. I'd rather have someone independent write a comprehensive biography. Autobiographies are often not very objective.

What does the future hold???
2015 sounds like it will be mostly FM related...After the 2015 tour Stevie takes 3 years off from FM weather they like it or not...With any luck she is already planning her next solo record for 2016...Stevie will keep herself busy until the FM "Farewell" tour in 2019...

Stevie still wants to do duets with her contemporaries. Stevie and elton on the voice to show rather than tell how to duet. It's a bit of a lost art people collaborate and vibe but it's not a true duet. She will talk and sing about how her grandfather started her singing and dancing on bars.
Be also forewarned the fleetwood mac run will not last as long as anticipated. The dragging the feet by Stevie to record is reflective of her need to not do too many tours. I do believe it has to do with miss nicks. Life experiences change perspective and her priorities might shock us later in life. "I ve given my life to this and really tried to impress artisty to the younger generation ...I want to go out with good reviews and if I'm not having fun cause I'm tired, it's over. I will continue to write and record but I am done touring.
I also predict as age also changes perspective that Stevie and lindsey will be there for each other as spouses through all the health issues and especially on Lindsey's end he wants to take care of her and help her. Lindsey too might start to identify more with his first marriage just because they are of a same age and can relate and share history that is not comfortable with the age gap in second marriage. I'm not saying anything against Kristen or their love just as one ages love is found all around in what we identify strongly with and is expressed not through physicalness or romace but just genuine concerns and love. That's all very personal and not really our concern as fans but he energy is there to read. That romance will re manifest in the quiet moments of need in an individual's life. Who is there for me in the end they were true journey fellow. I see them for that and am peace.
