I would be more excited if Stevie was touring with Heart than Rod Stewart.
I would be excited as well is to See Stevie Tour With Lindsey and do a Buckingham Nicks tour would be awesome too. It would make it worth the Money for me. I like Rod Stewart but not really a big fan.

A Buckingham Nicks tour of small, intimate venues to really treat their most loyal fanbase
Oink flap oink flap, etc.

Buckingham Nicks....small venues...I'm totally with you on that but Stevie's ego is waaaaay to huge to ever do that. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt she would ever do it.
In reality though, if they had done a large theatre tour with better priced tickets for the unleashed tour, it would of been a runaway success and they probably would of come out of it financially ahead in the long run. Smaller stage setup, smaller overhead cost.
Just my two cents.

I don't really want to see her with anybody, unless it was Lindsey or just in Fleetwood Mac. I don't even think I'd want to see a Heart/Stevie concert, in my opinion I look at them as too different. BUT really since I've never seen her at all, I would take anything, and be grateful for it. I'm not able to go to the Rod/Stevie one, so hopefully I can make it to a solo show, either in Boston or Montreal.

Everyone seems to come on here thinking they know what's best for Stevie, but she and her promoters know her better than anyone else. The reason she doesn't do small theatres is because she really doesn't have to. From what I can tell, she can still attract a decent sized crowd. And if she can't attract a decent sized crowd in a particular market, she simply doesn't play there.

Other than a few weak cities, Unleashed appeared to be a pretty big success as it was. Just about every show I attended was sold out or close to being sold out. Why should they play small theatres when they can fill arenas and exhibition spaces quite well? I suppose they could play theatres, but then they would have to play multiple nights due to demand, resulting in a longer tour and higher touring costs. And it's also a bummer for fans because cheaper tickets/smaller venues=greater upside for ticket scalpers. So in essence they would have to work harder to make less money- that makes no sense.

I'm not sure ego has anything to do with it. It's more that Fleetwood Mac will be touring on the horizon in 2012 or soon after, and FM is really Buckingham Nicks with Fleetwood Mac's rhythm section. Even Mick called it so on the updated FM Behind The Music.

Heart would kick ass. I've dreamed of seeing her and Tegan and Sara together. It will never happen, but I can dream!

Heart would kick ass.!
Yeah - they would!
If I could pick pick one person for my dream double ill with Stevie would be... Belinda Carlisle! I'm a huge fan and so I'd LOVE that!! Belinda has worked with Rick Nowels extensively and I know she's a Stevie fan. It could really, really work.

I don't think that's true  We're just expressing opinions and things we'd love to see happen.

Generally I just don't care who Stevie tours with... I always go solely to see her, and just try and tune out whoever goes on before her . But I have to admit, seeing her with Heart would be nearly too much for me to handle :D.

Lindsey - as Buckingham Nicks.

Really, it's not though. I appreciate the sentiment behind it, but they would have to do the Buckingham Nicks songs. And, don't screw me over and give me the Fleetwood Mac BN songs either - I want all the others too!
Oh, and for the record - I think the reason why we all say in small venues is not because we think that's "best" for Stevie. I think we think that's best for US! :)

I would be happy with Heart for sure. Also Pat Benatar or The Pretenders. It would be sort of an anti-Lilith fair outing since these gals RAWK harder than any of those lilith girls... and are far and away more original. Don't get me wrong, I love Sarah McLachlan, her new record is fantastic, but of the 90's bumper crop of female pop/rockers, only Sheryl Crow showed anything close to the diversity that Stevie had, but still did not demonstrate the guts to go all out country or pop/dance like Stevie. However my biggest criticism of Sheryl is she often came and still comes across as an imitator of styles and not an innovator. Her last CD is yet another prime example of this. But I still buy her records. She writes and co-writes decent songs. :)
As much as I would love a classic rock woman to share the bill with Stevie, It seems that Stevie likes to go out on the road with the men. Maybe for the diversity, but I feel there is a comfort therein for her. It took her until PM/TISL to collaborate with other women besides the great Christine McVie:D.

I think they would be a great opening act for Stevie. Maybe we should let her know. I honestly wonder how much say so Stevie has in things...in anything!
I'd die if Stevie went on tour with Heart. They'd for sure play at Chastain Park which is my favorite venue in Atlanta. Yes, it would be a great show in deed.

As much as I'd like to say Lindsey, I think we'll be waiting quite a while for them to get to grips with the whole Buckingham Nicks situation. But alas, I dare to dream. I can only really think, otherwise, of people whom would never dane to tour with her. More "in a perfect/that would be hilarious" world kind of sense. Loudon Wainwright III would be interesting, because she may just dig back into her country roots. Rufus Wainwright would be a great choice too considering some of their songs are quite similar in style. Songs like Beautiful Child, Matinee Idol and Danny Boy always make me thing of Stevie. Laura Marling could be a good choice too as she, in my eyes, is the british answer to Taylor Swift. Only good at what she does....

I would die if Stevie and Heart ever toured together. It would be freaking amazing and how cool would it be if they did a couple of songs together too?!! Oh well one can dream!

Well, first and foremost, Kate Bush, since their audiences would overlap and together they'd cast a spell that would make the world spin that much faster...
But since Kate hasn't toured since 1979, then...Ronstadt, Dixie Chicks, Sting, Tracy Chapman or Heart on a co-tour...or Joan Osbourne or Seal as an opener. Hell, this is a wishing game, just make it a festival.
