I did pre-order, but I would have waited except for the posts about there being a longer version of "Secret Love".
Of course, I will buy more than one copy of the cd when it's released anyway.

I will not be pre-ordering because you won't get the album until at least 5 days after the release date. I want to have it in my hot little hands on May 3 come hell or high water! I made the mistake of pre-ordering with TISL... and ended up going mad and buying a copy from my local record store on the release date, just so I could have a copy. Thus, I ended up with two copies of one silly cd. Not doing that this time around... I'll happily wait to buy the cd here in Austin, and support a local business by doing so :).

As hard as I try, I just can't get excited about Stevie's new album. Because, if I'm honest, I just don't expect much. It's either going to be the same old, or something that just isn't Stevie because of Dave's heavy involvement to the point that it just doesn't work for me. Lindsey's new album is a different kettle of fish, however. You never know what to expect with his work and that's half the fun.

Haven't you heard about the praise it has got, Bee? I have got a feeling that we'll all like it, as i'm saying this is the reinvention of Stevie Nicks.
Well seeing as that I live in Australia, I don't own a credit card, I've already got Secret Love, and also that I can't be bothered asking my parents to do it.
Nope, I won't do it.

Well I don't often frequent the Stevie forum here, and I havn't heard mention of the album anywhere else, so no I havn't heard of its praise lol. I try not to go by what a Stevie fan themself has said about the album, because of course they're biased hehe.

Many musicians as well have David Wild of Rolling Stone Magazine have both given comments that were awesome. David Wild also spoke how as a grown man, wept to many of the tracks.

Maybe I should start reading Rolling Stones magazine lol. I don't read magazines as a rule. I prefer books that last as long as I want them to, not short and punchy articles that don't inspire. I sound so snobbish lol. I can't help it. Years of being a child reading Top Of The Pops and Smash Hits have turned me against them. I just can't stick with things that have "flavours of the month" and fall back on the same old media fodder with little taste. Not that I'm accusing RS of that. It's just a pet hate I try to avoid.

I've pre-ordered from amazon. I would much rather not pre-order and just rush out and buy it immediately on May 3rd but since I'm in the UK there has been no mention of whether or not that date is the same for release over here. It's not unusual for a lot of artists who think that their success is entirely US based to release albums later in other territories. I couldn't stand waiting ages for it to come out here while everyone else had it! As it is I'll be waiting an extra few days/week for it to be delivered to me anyway - ahhhhhh!
If it is released here on May 3rd I will be buying it that day and giving my amazon copy to a friend as a gift!

Can I be that fwiend? *bats eyelids sweetly*
Haha. I feel like a bad Stevie for not being entirely bothered about it at all. I'll get it eventually. It's taken me all this time to get her other albums at Christmas, so yeah. I will pre order Lindsey's though.

Yes, I pre-ordered.
Yes, I will probably pre-order any "deluxe" edition they release.
And in the past with preorders, I've actually gotten my CD the day of the release or the day before!
But if it is not in my hands before May 3, I will probably purchase it off of iTunes at 12 AM.
What a waste of money.
Stevie Nicks, you better thank me.
I will be expecting a Landslide dedication at your next Texas show.

Hehe. Was only joking :p But seriously, it's nice of you to gift somebody else should you end up with two copies. Got to share the McLove around :D

I haven't pre-ordered. But only because I can't afford it. Also I see no need to pre-order it because on May 3rd, I want to go out and buy it. I don't need the free MP3 because someone already shared it with me. So I'm not pre-ordering. I would if I didn't live near HMV & wouldn't be able to get it for a while after the release date.

Well duh, of course I pre-ordered it. I had to have Secret Love RIGHT THAT MOMENT! I did it for that. I will also be buying it on iTunes the day it is released.
But...I will actually be getting a pre-released promo copy from a friend at WB Nashville which I've already confirmed. She'll be sending it to me the day she gets it if she gets a copy which she will since she works in the promo dept. for FM.
Woot!

Nah. I'll download it from iTunes or Amazon when it's released. I can't be bothered with CDs anymore.

I haven't pre-ordered it and well since it doesn't seem to have any special reason other than the download which is OK but if there was something more 'special' with the pre-order than I probably would but it dosen't appear that there is anything deluxe about the new cd if you pre-order it (at least not right now) plus its not like its gonna come months quicker or something so right now I probably won't. I'll just buy it at Target or something unless she has some exclusive with some store which I've not heard about either? I'll just get it around the release date. No big deal. I've done the purchase's the 'day of ' release its ok. I'll get it when I'm meant to have it. I guess I figure that I've waited 10 yrs for it whats months and some days?? Oh, well. Its all good. I' m sure I'll enjoy it when its in my hands.:D ** ps : if I do change my mind and pre-order I'll repost but right now I don't think so.

I preordered because I didn't feel comfortable hearing Secret Love without having paid for it  I know Warner probably wanted it to get passed around but I wouldn't feel right when the option was there to pay for it. I'll buy the CD on May 3rd and end up with two copies, less than ideal but it's okay, I'll pass the extra one on to someone.
