I am thinking Album of the Year, specifically.

How about we at least wait until the release date to make a claim like this. Though we do have a sexy 30 second clip of ONE song, we should wait and see. I would love for this thing to do hella well!

She'll never get an album of the year nod. But I've long said I think this is Stevie's turn for industry recognition. She'll get nominated for something, I'd be willing to bet money. The planets are aligned for it.

Before hearing 'Secret Love' I thought there'd be no chance she'd get anything.
Now, after hearing possibly the best thing to happen to Stevie Nicks in like forever, I am 100% sure of it.

Only in your dreams.

I think it's pretty predictable that the grammy award for album of the year, next year, will go to either Beyoncé or GaGa, both are releasing albums this year, and both are at the top of their game.
That being said, I think Stevie will get nominated for something... there just seems to be an incredible amount of goodwill surrounding this new project.

However, you do have to take into account- the committee does like "lesser known", yet more classic albums. Robert Plant and Alison Krauss (or however you spell it), won it a few years back!

But *Taylor Swift* won last year.

In recent years, a large majority of nominees for album of the year have been young, more contemporary artists. I really can't see her getting a nom there. I fully expect her to get nommed for something, though.

As I predicted a few weeks ago, this will be Stevie's resurgence year. Her album will be nominated for "Album of the Year." She will be nominated for some other categories, too. Her album will sell better than her last one. She will get a radio hit out of it that is substantial.
Those of you who say this is premature don't understand how label-driven & pre-planned the Grammy nods actually are.
Stevie Nicks is BACK WITH A VENGEANCE!

I'm just glad you stood up for me putting up this poll at this time. Indeed, I was asking people to read the tea leaves, to which you make precise reference.

My guess didn't come from hype at all. I'm just thinking of how the industry works. Like David said, so much of this stuff is so pre-planned, label driven, and political. Since Stevie won't sell big numbers or have singles chart highly anymore, it's her turn for the industry to give her a critical nod. Especially with the whole '30 years since first album, 10 years since her last album' thing. It's just too "Hollywood" to pass up.

So exciting. How many shows will you be attending? I was thinking that I'd get a screen shot of the appearance with Rod and make Rod and Stevie t-shirts with the words Heart and Soul as a caption, only I would use a ♡ instead of the word "heart." If I make you one, what size do you want it in?

I'll go out on the hopeful limb one rung further. Oh, limbs don't have rungs. I don't care.
Regardless, out on this runged limb I predict this coming winter (December-ish) Stevie Nicks will finally get her nomination into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist.
A new cd, tour with Rod, and then her summer tour, with the cd being called exquisite by David Wild, who of course, is arm in arm with Jann Wenner, industry support 4 months before the cd drops, how can she miss? Touring most every year since 1997 alone distinguishes her from every female rocker of her era. I'll venture further to say that not only is she nominated, she gets IN and will be in The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame at the 2012 ceremonies.
So what if I'm wrong, I don't care!
OH, and hey, did anyone ever say to MIKEBISE-- "Mike you were first, and you were right!" ---About the Rod-Stevie dates. He was humbly ready to concede had his friend been wrong- and there was no need as it turned out, yet he was willing, ahead of time, to take the slings and arrows.
Not only is Mike Bise the informed insider of The Ledge this year, he was classy about it! Nice, Mike!

This gets me thinking- Stevie Nicks has had Grammy nominations for every solo album from 'Bella Donna' to 'Trouble In Shangri La' with the exception of 'Street Angel'.
I'm not counting 'Timespace' or the 'Enchanted' box set. Other than 'SA,' every other solo cd of new material from BD to TISL was Grammy nominated in at least one category.
Heck yes, 'In Your Dreams' will net her at least one nomination! I just want it to be one that she wins!
Album Of The Year may be aiming high, but ef*it, why not aim high?
I voted, however, for 'nominated for something.'

So exciting. How many shows will you be attending? Well, unfortunately, I won't be attending any of those concerts. I think she sucks in concert.
But this album is going to be all over the radio, & today's megastars of pop will sing Stevie's praises, as will Matt Lauer.
STEVIE, THIS IS YOUR YEAR!!!!
