Roth Conversions

I wanted to start a new thread (in honor of the new year) that would get no more than one or two replies.

Did you convert any of your traditional IRAs or 401(k)s to Roth this past year? Did you spread out your tax liability for doing so across two or more years? What made you choose to convert?

I converted a couple of things to Roth. I hope I made the right choice.

Generally speaking, I'm not in favor of Roth conversions.
