I found this on youtube and thought it was pretty funny.

I love when she goes "Wait 'til Fleetwood Mac here's about that" :P

I prefer wild and dramatic hair Stevie, at least it held some style. Now it's straight and boring like Jose's here.

I just noticed this was the same woman in the car with Stevie in that one pic around this time.

wow...great find. funny, was just thinking about this the other day and wondering when someone was going to post it. But I was only expecting the edited version that was shown on some entertainment magazine show back then. Great to see the unedited footage.

So, question is, when was this done? I'm thinking early '87. Stevie looks very similar to the Big Love video.

Very dangerous giving a woman with that hair free reign over contest winners.

To those of you who were alive in the 80s--was that hair really considered cool? I can see the appeal of a lot of big 80s hair, but this look mystifies me. I see slight traces of the mullet and the 'fro--not a good combo.

She's very cute and funny in the vid, though. Thanks for posting it!

sorry to say, but, yes, it was the look. it doesn't baffle or shock me at all.

kinda waiting to see it come back lol. you know it will, like everything else.

I would be so happy if it did :D

Isn't that the truth though. ;) I found it cool back then, and sometimes now really because so many women opt for the straightened boring lifeless look, and to them, that's cool. We all like different things I guess.

I have photographic proof that *I* was cool in the 80s too. Need to find a scanner so I can share with you all.

He was sitting in the front row of her concert at the sports arena in Los Angeles in July 1986, & then playing around with her & her group backstage at the Supper Club.

 I love this video, I so wish she would play with my hair! I love having my hair played with, & if it was Stevie I would probably have a heart attack. I think Stevie would have made an awesome hair dresser, her hair was always so interesting.

Is it just me or does the lady at the end seem really fake about liking her hair? hahah

I think I was personally responsible for part of the hole in the ozone layer because of this hairstyle!

Those were the days of Aqua Net and getting up two hours early for school to tease an extra eight inches of volume on top of your head!!

I should pull out my yearbook too!

I don't know--even in the midst of mass 80s revivals (even LEGWARMERS came back) this look hasn't reemerged yet...

But I guess it's true that most things do. My granddaughters will probably rock the look someday. They'll look at college pics of me and my friends going out with straightened hair, and laugh and laugh..:distress:.

Stevie in the 70's and early 80's was the most beutiful woman I had ever seen. Unfortunately the late 80's came along and well you see what happened. She's not even 40 in this clip and yet she looks alot older to me. I think she looks even older here than she does in some of the recent interviews I have seen of her . The super heavy make-up doesn't help either. But, it's not quite as bad as that frizing/crimping explosion thing she was sporting around the time of Street Angel. At least she got it together and toned it down and looked fabulous during The Dance.

Some of her looks during early Tango were beautiful to me. I guess we all have our favorite Stevie eras. It's understandable for people (the younger Ledgies) not of the 80's era to make fun or laugh at some of the looks. I do the same for 50's, 60's and so much of the ugly 70's era, which I was born. But like it or not, Stevie's hair in this clip was to-die-for at the time and many a girl wanted her hair. I think she's so pretty here really.
