I would like to learn how to play that" Lindsey Buckingham-ish" guitar part on the 2nd part when Stevie sings the "la, la, la la..... part in Stand Back. I don't know if thats a bass guitar or a electric guitar but I'd like to learn that part of the song .

Thanks.

Ironically, in the recent Fleetwood Mac live versions of SB, Lindsey isn't even playing escept for the wailing solo part. He just stands there making funny faces and mouthing the words "stand back!" while pretending to noodle around on the guitar; Neal does the heavy lifting on this song. The studio version sounds like a bass guitar played way up on the neck, while the live version seems to be John doubling the bass on the bottom end to Neal's top end.

I like your image of Stevie on the piece of toast! Where did you find that?

And for the SYW tour, Carlos took the spotlight. The animated Lindsey stays on the periphery for this one, just mouthing it and having fun. He usually doesn't even face the audience. Michele

Watch the Tango in the Night tour video version of the song. You should be able to play this by ear. It's like... two notes...

Going by memory it's something like...

E:----------------------------------------------------------------
B:-------------------------------------------------------------2--
G:-2-4--4--4-2--2-4--4--4-2--2-4--4--4-2--2-4--4--4----
D:----------------------------------------------------------------
A:----------------------------------------------------------------
E:----------------------------------------------------------------

E:-----------------------------------------------------------------2---
B:--------------------------------------2-----2-3--2-3-5--3-5------
G:-2-4--4--4-2--2-4--4--4-2--2-4-----4-------------------------
D:--------------------------------------------------------------------
A:-------------------------------------------------------------------
E:-------------------------------------------------------------------

Use hammer ons and pulls off for most of it... like I said it's only by memory but it's close enough
