Oh, Baboles, you definitely have to listen to all of these for me. Early Christmas morning is so much fun - Cyndi is the greatest. & Merry Christmas Baby is a lot of fun too! I posted this a few weeks ago in the 'What you're listening to right now thread' but I guess I'll just slap it here too, and spread the joy.

[McTrouble]

Driving Home for Christmas - Chris Rea
All I Want for Christmas is You - Mariah Carey
Little Saint Nick - The Beach Boys

[Richard B]

I love Christmas music songs. They make me happy. Your list already and what some others have mentioned are great (especially Christmas vacation)
Here are some good ones to add, both classic and modern:

It Doesn't Often Snow At Christmas - Pet Shop Boys
A Great Big Sled - The Killers
Mele Kalikimaka - Bing Crosby & The Andrew Sisters
12 Days of Christmas - Reliant K
Jingle Bell Rock - Brian Setzer Orchestra
Give Love On Christmas Day - Jackson 5
Navidad - Gipsy Kings
Natal - Cesaria Evora
Blue Christmas - Pretenders
Don't Shoot Me Santa Claus - The Killers
Hard Candy Christmas - Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers
What Child Is This? - Andrea Bocelli & Mary J Blige
Jingle Bells - Crash Test Dummies
Pretty Paper - Chris Isaak

[chiliD]

To me, nothing says "Christmas" like:

LINUS & LUCY - Vince Guaraldi Trio

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Ltn-I25k6oE?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Ltn-I25k6oE?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

And:

CHRISTMAS TIME IS HERE AGAIN (Beatles Christmas Message 1966):

Agreed. Martina McBride's comes in a close second for me. Kelly Clarkson's version is great vocally, but it's an odd arrangement with accapella background singers & throws it all off.

I had no clue The Killers did some Christmas tunes. Good to know.

My suggestions:

Elton John - Step Into Christmas
U2 - Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)

Yea, it's cool as they put out a new Christmas song every year since 2006. It's become tradition.

A Great Big Sled - 2006
Don't Shoot Me Santa Claus - 2007
Joseph, Better You Than Me (feat. Elton John & Neil Tennant) - 2008
¡Happy Birthday Guadalupe! (feat. Wild Light & Mariachi El Bronx) - 2009
Boots - 2010

All are available via iTunes. I think Amazon too, but not sure. They are great, original tunes.

Everyone needs Elvis' Christmas songs

The definitive version of Merry Christmas Baby

If Everyday Was Like Christmas
Blue Christmas
