This will be on VH-1 Classics, Saturday, December 4, 2010, at 9pm/8pm Central, with several more airings all month long.
Stevie is so beautiful in this, as well as in Classic Albums: Rumours, both of which were filmed around the same time in 1997. I haven't dug out my VHS of FM Behind The Music in a long time, so I'm very excited to see it again on VH-1 Classics next Saturday!
I know on Classic Albums: Rumours, Stevie played "Dreams" on the piano, but I'm drawing a blank about what she said and did on FM's Behind The Music.
I hope this remastered version will also be available on DVD soon, to add to my Stevie Video Library On DVD!!!!! Ooh, and, hopefully, they will "remaster" Stevie's own Behind The Music from 1998 as well! :)

And this is VH-1 Classics, not the main VH-1. It's available on DirecTV and Dish Network as far as satellite goes. VH-1 Classics plays a LOT of Stevie videos in their long blocks of videos. One day I saw "Rooms On Fire" and "Seven Wonders" back-to-back.
The also played a 30-minute interview special before airing the 2003 Boston concert - almost all of the interview is with Stevie! Last year, they played a half hour version of Stevie's Soundstage as a promo for the DVD/CD.

I'm looking forward to this and just set U-verse to record this.
I saw the Heart Remastered version, and what's interesting is they added fresh/new information from their latest release at the end. I wonder if FM will have new info as well.

Thank you for letting us know about it! I just set my DVR for it and in the description it says it was updated to reflect Christine McVie's departure and the current line up's album which I'm assuming is SYW.

They will probably talk about SYW and Unleashed and that they have plans for atleast "one more kick ass album" in the future.

Anyone know if this interview is online anywhere?
Also, I'm in the UK but don't get VH1 so can't see the new BTM! Gutted. Does anyone know if you can watch VH1 shows online from their werbiste or something? I'm really keen to see how they've updated the old one!
Also, I agree that Stevie's needs to be updated too, it was pretty poor in the first place.

I hope all the "new" interviews aren't the ones they used for the BBC doc.

I have VH1-Classic but I'm not sure it's the same one, since I'm in Holland.

It might be interesting to see what parts they cut out to make room for the new stuff.

i think they should completely re-edit it...the original is focused entirely around The Dance reunion.

The way these remastered version work is they cut out about seven minutes of original footage and tack on an "update" from the past ten years.
Interesting side note, both the Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks Behind The Music's were released as radio shows from Westwood One. They are the same as the TV version only in audio form. Kind of cool.
Thanks so much for posting this. I'll set the DVR to record this so I don't miss it. :)

VH1 Classic might be one of those channels that runs shows a tad bit early (or late). I changed the setting on my DVR to both start and end recording an extra two minutes.

New Tweet from David Wild:
Fleetwood Mac fans: I ran into one of the producers of the "Behind The Music Remastered" that airs tomorrow. He said it's great.
As it turns out, MOST of the members did new interviews. And apparently I'm wonderful.
(I also posted this in Rumours.)

I don't have VH1 Classic. Can someone post it, or at least fill us in on what was added and/or changed?

They did a wonderful job. I wish there was a new Stevie bit but it was still wonderful.

Count yourself lucky that the limo ride was edited
out. Things only Lindsey, Stevie, Barry and myself
were witness to.
