Don't forget everybody to set your clocks back 1 hour for the ending of Daylight Saving Time. Get ready for it being dark at 4:30 pm, at least that's how it is here in Tennessee. I suppose this only applies to US Ledgies - not sure if other countries follow this practice or something similiar.

Does that start tomorrow morning? Weird!

Yeah to be technical it starts at like 1 am. We just set our clocks back 1 hour before we go to bed.

Our clocks went back a full week ago. I hate coming home from University in the dark. Although considering I've been getting in at 8am and staying until 8pm all week I think it's kind of expected lol.

The state of Arizona (except for the Navajo Indian Reservation), along with other small areas/pockets of the US, does not observe Daylight Savings. Which is fine in theory, as DST- as a concept- is a outmoded joke, but it was always so annoying (growing up in AZ) being so ass-backwards out of step with the rest of the country.

that it "is a outmoded joke".

What I find funny about it that it was extended a few years back, so now for most of year we run an hour ahead in time!

And we in Indiana didn't, from the late 60's, until about 4 years ago. I wish we could just keep the later time, year round. Gimme that extra evening hour of daylight!

Just got my 3 clocks adjusted. Think I'll go on to bed and enjoy the extra sleep. :D

That was one of the things I loved about living in Az. It's annoying changing clocks.

Is that all? Three? I can count 15, and that's probably forgetting a couple.

I think it's Sundae night we're supposed to change the clocks, not tonight. My calendar lists it as Sundae and my computer still reads 1:37 am.

Eh, I found it more annoying adjusting to everyone else. Cable TV schedules always inevitably got screwed up in the 1-2 weeks after a switch. NFL Football abruptly starts at 11AM instead of 10AM. Plus, the inevitable "what time is it there?" conversation that happens dozens of times (with the requisite 15 second "AZ doesn't observe DST" exchange) every F'ing year.

Then again, I don't own any timepieces that don't already automatically change, so :)

Never have relied upon them for clock related reasons- their purposes are solely limited to whatever I'm heating/preparing.

So you just let them flash, or show the wrong time? Either, would drive me crazy!

As did my computer. But the VCR has to be done manually.

Be aware of the increased potential for adverse things happening, like car accidents, etc, for the week after the time change, (both Spring, &, Fall),

people are more stressed-out, distracted, and, not fully focused due to the change,

be a little more careful this week,

I thought it was last night for some reason, but won't it be fun going on on Mondays and Wednesdays. I have a class that ends at 5:10 and around these parts, it's pitch black by then.

That's one of the things I liked about moving from Ohio to Florida. We're on the same Eastern Time Zone still so if people call from "home" just to talk or tell me "Hey, turn it on channel so and so and look whats on..." I can do that being on the same time still and share in the conversation and still have palm trees outside my front door.

This whole time change deal may be a good thing:) Because, before today I would drive home at 5 after class with the sun RIGHT in my eyes, since it was beginning to set. But now hopefully it will be almost down by the time I start driving home. It has blinded me for too long now! :(

I live in Michigan and I so hate the time change thing....I so hate leaving work when its dark....can't see those cops sitting around waiting to catch you....not that I'm speeding or nothing but they'll stop you just to give tickets to get $$....still at least in the daylight I can see them but not at night....ugh!! I have tomorrow off but not the rest of the week. It was dark tonight at about 513 : ( yuck!!!!

Its starting to get dark here right now. I need to get up and turn on a lamp. It will help me get up in the morning. I'm not a morning person and on Fri and Sat I have to be at work at 8am!! The other days I go in at 11am.
