Hey Guys :)

I was wondering what Era Stevie you were all into right now.
I'm really big into SYW / TISL Stevie right now.
I dont know, all of her music is just really fascinating to me right now.

What do you guys think?

Every Era Stevie is great, but right now I'm digging the mid 80's thing she had going on, mostly Rock A Little. Those songs are playing most on my pod right now.

I think these are Rock a Little Stevie, but I might be wrong. I've never seen these pics till today from what I can remember. Whatever era their from, they just rock.

If I had to throw all my other recordings away & I could have a single recording of anything Nicks had ever done, it would be the concert she did at the Forum in October of '83. Everything else, I'd toss in a heartbeat just to have that (assuming the Forum recording was professional standard).

We all have nostalgic ties to concerts we attended, so maybe that's what it is. But that's the single thing I'd take of Stevie's & everything would go in the trash.

I don't have a particular era. I am just "an everything Stevie era". Love it all, and I can't wait for the new Stevie decade to begin with her new album comming out.:wavey:

Tuskish area. I am in love with the version of Landslide recorded on the Tusk Tour Record. That may actually be my favorite live recording (that's actually on an album) of all times. It was recorded live in London and her voice seems to be giving out and she's whispering almost. Just precious, almost heartbreaking. Hummm, think I'll listen to it now.

I seem to have dove headlong into the Rock A Little era this year. This was the only of Stevie's albums I just plain never liked. It was dated cheesy 80s in my opinion. The Red Rocks concert was just painful to watch. But within the past year or two, I've come to love everything about this era. To me, the album itself it the perfect pop/rock record. It's fun and easy to listen to, but makes you think in spots as well. Stevie was really mixing things up musically and vocally during this era, too. And the RAL tour was the last time we saw Stevie cut loose and show her passion. I guess RAL and all it's 80s goodness is what I'm digging at the moment!

I'm into the Wild Heart era. Because, you know... She's wild. She's wilder. Just... wild.

I was listening to all things Rock A Little a while ago but now I just can't seem to get enough of The Wild Heart, specifically Nightbird. Really getting into that track lately. There's just so much to it, it's very complex - and I don't care what others say, I love the "boots all summer long" line!

I'm actually on a Stevie hiatus at the moment. I haven't listened to much Stevie since the concert in August. I do that every so often, I take a break from her for a few months or so and then when I do get back into her, it's a welcomed return. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

I'm not in any spesific era now. Just listening to all her music, all the eras :)

I tend to go back and forth between Placebo and Stevie. I'm coming down from Placebo right now, so I've been listening to a lot of everything. Especially from the early 80s. A lot of Mirage demos and Bella Donna, but really listening and trying to suck in all of her amazing song writing. If You Were My Love and Straight Back have been on repeat for a few days now :)

Oh, I'm totally in the same spot. Honestly, I've been burned out on the Mac and Stevie for some time now. I can only listen to the same albums over and over for so many years. Right now I'm enjoying my various Indie bands and am discovering more new artists all the time thanks to Pandora Radio. Whenever we start getting new solo and Mac records from the gang, I'll jump back in line. :)

i usually always tend to hover around the Mirage, Wild Heart, Rock A Little eras...but now im full on RAL because of the 25th anniversay thing...but last week i was all about TOSOTM...and then there was a TITN thing for awhile...and yesterday i pulled out the Live album from 1980 so im always all over the place...i guess. and then i go thru periods where i need a break. so, yeah ...its like that

I'm digging the "Rock a Little" period at the moment. The album, the remixes, live performances, B-sides, everything from this period. "If I Were You" is one of my all time favourite Stevie songs.

I've listened to some Stevie stuff but not alot of late mostly other artists....some Pink Floyd right now (live Wall)....Heart/etc....sometimes I just need a break from all the Stevie /Mac stuff.....its not like I don't see her or Mac/Eagles/Henley. I have posters and photos all over my walls so even if I'm not listen there not far from my mind ....I'm just interested in other artists right now.....which I think its good to have those distractions really we do all need a break .....so I guess this is my form of a break right now......though I haven't listened to too much Eagles or Henley in sometime really.....but it happens though and well its not a bad thing ....it is what it is.......its all good....:D:shrug:

Anyway, if and when I do listen to Stevie or Mac I do love the time periods from 77-early 84 but I do like other time frames as well just those are my favorite ones voice wise and outfits ...... :)

At the moment, none- I haven't really listened to Stevie in a fairly long time- and I really want that to change!!! Come on new album!!! :)

Normally though, I dig the late 80's.

I've really been digging The Dance - TISL - SYW - Present period this weekend. I don't know why, normally I'm not a huge fan of "nasally Stevie" (as I call her)

But I heard Gold Dust Woman from The Dance on shuffle, and that glorious scream. Then I'm hooked on Love Changes and Fall From Grace, then Thrown Down / Destiny Rules / Everybody Finds out... etc.

Today I was into the Shangri-La Stevie. All I did for hours today was lay on my bed in my dark room with a vanilla candle burning, my Christmas lights strung all over my room, and TISL blasting over my stereo. It was great.

Yeah, sure, I love the long intro:nod:. I love the way Stevie was playing with the audience. And best keybords that were ever playing for Stand Back are from BTM tour.

But at this one she forget lyrics... at least it was performed longer:D.

There is better version, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fM4wO9lfojw, that was earlier in 1990, so Stevie wasnīt so tranqualizied, but itīs cut in the middle... and you canīt see her coming on stage in the beginning :(

the BTM performances certaintly weren't her best but there was a definite charm and grandness about SB, Rhiannon and GDW from these shows. Stevie could do no wrong and she totally used her star power to it's fullest potential on every one of her songs. The audience didn't seem to care that the Stevie before them was an entirely different version of the Stevie from just a few years before.
