Does anyone have the DVD-Audio version of Rumours?

If so, would you mind uploading the tracks in 320kbps?

Cheers,

brandon

Hey Zanobbi,

No problem. Just upload them to SendSpace (or some other such free site) and post the download links here. :)

Thank you so much! You can upload full sized WAV, or AIF files if you want. MP3 is fine if you've got them in 320kbps... Thanks again!!

You rock man. Thanks a lot. I promise I'm gonna back this up on my external so I don't have to ask for them again. ;)

I'm confused. Are the stereo mixes available on the DVD-A or is it something that's not available commercially?

The DVD-A versions of the songs are remarkably different in terms of what you hear. Especially Never Going Back Again. Also GYOW. The DVDA however did not carry stereo versions of the songs (from what I recall)... Anyone with Soundtrack pro or some other such program could take those mixes and bump them down to stereo mp3s, etc... I just dont have the DVDA myself (nor can I find it anywhere)... i believe it's out of print. ;)

I have both Rumours and Say You Will on DVD-Audio,
and of course the DVD Audio players which are the only
way to listen to the high resolution (5.1 analog outputs).
The players don't provide the highest resolution out of
the digital outputs. Though they are still higher resolution
than the standard CD player.

LittleD, I belive you're wrong about the Rumours DVD Audio Disc.
From what I remember it does carry both the 5.1 and 2.0 high
resolution stereo.

I had no idea they were so hard to get. Cheapest I saw was
on Amazon. SYW is $99.99 new. Rumours is available through
third party sellers for big $$$.

(LIMITED TIME ONLY!!)

Hey umm... Something's not right. Never Going Back Again (for example) doesn't have the electric guitar part added in. The ones in this RAR file don't match the ones I already have (I have them in 128kbps) on my iPod. What I was expecting was the 5.1 mix itself but in a stereo format. Make sense? :o

Let me see. Tonight I'll try, I'm not an expert in (anything?) audio formats: I just remember it was NOT easy to extract the audio files from that DVD Audio. I'll need some time.

Zanobbi:

Thats it! Good on you!

I will go to work on cleaning them up... although I'm cleaning up MP3s so they might not be that great anyway ;)
