Could I Don't Wanna Know be classed as a Stevie song? Anyhoo, I voted for Gold Dust Woman. Tis one of my constantly played Mac songs :p
And it's too bad Silver Springs isn't eligible. Would have definitely voted for that, obviously hehe.

Gave my vote to Gold Dust Woman. Not crazy about I Don't Wanna Know, I hate Dreams with a passion and besides, who doesn't think Gold Dust Woman from the Japan show is awesome?

I voted too hastily. :( I meant to vote for Dreams, but that's OK. I love all three of these songs. Dreams is the one to which I refer most often. I voted I Don't Want to Know because I wish there were more songs like this in the Mac catalogue. And it's powerfully profound.

Gold dust Woman for sure. I just love the whole vibe. Stevie in top form. On the Rumours classic album DVD when Lindsey is showing this song, He isolates Stevie's vocal in the outro. She is doing some scary inhuman things with her voice:eek: Anyway perfect song.

Gold Dust Woman

Game. Set. Match. Don't bother with the other rounds.

Dreams. It is quite possibly the most tired of all the Fleetwood Mac songs, except maybe Oh Well, but the version on The Dance is still amazing.

GDW, don't care for the others really.

 Those be fightin' words!! It's still BY FAR the best song in the 43 year history of the band.

I voted GDW...but, I have to say, after being MAJORLY (understatement) burnt out on "Dreams" for, oh, about 30 years, I gained new appreciation of the song this past weekend when at my band's reunion gig (playing our first show in 32 years) played it UNREHEARSED* with a guest female singer and just NAILED IT...spot on background vocals, too!

*Meaning, the band didn't rehearse the song at all...on top of THAT, we were only introduced to the female singer as she stepped up to the microphone!

Well Gold Dust Woman is greater than the credit I give it (and I give it LOTS actually), so... GDW will be it.

It seems like that Gold Dust Woman is gonna win by a landslide (no pun intended, besides it's the wrong album)

Don't forget "Silver Springs" will be eligble later on in a battle that features Stevie's *other* songs, i.e. "Fireflies," "No Questions Asked," etc.

GDW is the only one of her Rumours songs that I think is still fresh and vibrant in concert. I have to say it doesn't stand out to me on the original Rumours, but I like the extras on the remastered and find them enchanting.

If the Mac did IDWTK, I think that would be fresh and vibrant. Hell would have frozen over, but I wasn't planning on going there anyway.

How could it even be considered "tired" when it was given an 13 year break from the Fleetwood Mac concert set? From 1995-2008

And, don't even GO toward "yet". ;)

It would certainly have been exciting. When Christine left, I thought this would be an ideal candidate for Stevie and Lindsey's two vocals. They still sound good singing tightly together on SHN. I think they could do the same on IDWTK. Take us back to those BN days.

Voted for GDW ...

I like the version she did with Bob Welch at the Roxy (I think), cos it shows what a good riff the song's built around.

Dreams is kinda played-out to my ears, but I do still really like IDWTK cos who couldn't love a whole song with those voices superglued together like that. Gorgeous.:)

This makes me think that it would be very interesting to really look at how different album's, era's, song's have made use of their voice. How it's changed. The Say You Will album, for example, is fascinating because there is no real return to BN harmonizing (note in Destiny Rules we NEVER see them sing together in the studio) and there are no duets; instead, it's more like their voices haunt the others' songs, but pretty much every song is full of both them. It creates a different dynamic. Anyway, just musing...

instead, it's more like their voices haunt the others' songs,

That's very true and, in some cases, I think the song is enhanced by the haunting. This is particularly the case with Miranda and EFO. There's a detached vibe in the background vocal that adds to the mystery in Miranda and the estranged feeling in EFO.
