With a limited tour schedule kicking in (it can be found at bjthomas.com) and occasional film appearances — 2008’s “Jake’s Corner” gave him a prominent role — Thomas appears plenty busy. It’s unlikely he’ll ever return to previous heights, but with the right song — longtime drummer Larry Chavis indicated a coupling with Stevie Nicks could be in the works — it’s not inconceivable.
On this summer night, Thomas proved he still can deliver the goods.

Oh no. What could Stevie possibly want with this alte cocker?? She's on the brink of making a big mainstream comeback so why would she sabotage that with the likes of B.J. Thomas?

relax--Stevie's not "coupling" with BJ Thomas. He's happily married. "Oooga chaka"

That would be an odd pairing to see at a show.
Just as an aside, my little sister played soccer with BJ Thomas' daughter back in the 80's when we lived in Texas. BJ used to come to the games on Saturdays.
I guess I could see a pairing with him with Stevie's country roots, but isn't Dave Stewart talking about touring with Stevie next year?

Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song is one of my all time favorite songs, ever.

I like B.J Thomas. He was on top of the country charts as the same time frame as Stevie's Wildheart LP was on the pop charts. ok I wonder this could be related to the Country Rumours tribute thing.or is this project is a dead issue now.

I like his song he did with Jennifer Warnes for the classic 80's sitcom 'Growing Pains'.:)
