This whole RealStevieNicks Twitter mess seems to have been forgotten about...So I have created a twitter account to specifically deal with it...So I present @CRUSHfakeStevie on twitter witch features a gun wielding Stevie avatar...I have to give credit to someone on ledge for it(The picture)...Can't remember who...I have talked (Tweeted) to Dave Stewart on more than one occasion about the subject...Last time I checked 11,300 followers and climbing...Twitter is not helping matters...They now have a who to follow suggestion which is guess who?..It's a random computer thing but still it doesn't help...There is also a blog attached to the CRUSHfakeStevie twitter...The solution is quite simple really...If you "Tweet" the fake Stevie followers they will unfollow...Problem is fake Stevie gets more followers faster than I can tweet ...I need help...I'm not pointing any fingers here but certain "Ledgie's" are still following fake Stevie...Shame on you...I'm doing this because this whole fake Stevie thing pisses me off!!! All the things Stevie has done for us over the years...And people can't send a few "Tweets" to help Stevie...Do people not care...They claim to be fans...Any way does any one have any ideas...Any help will be appreciated...It's not hard...With a little help we can CRUSHfakeStevie...

Isn't there a way to report the profile or something along those lines instead of messaging the followers? Since the account probably gets just as many followers everyday as it loses, it really doesn't accomplish much & it would just be a never ending cycle. :shrug: Since Stevie has that note on her website saying she doesn't tweet, if that was messaged to Twitter along with the profile claiming to be Stevie maybe something could finally be done about it.

According to their impersonation policy, the account is in violation. However "Twitter processes impersonation reports from the user being impersonated or someone legally authorized to act on behalf of the user/entity."

Yeah I know I will never win the battle but it's fun trying...I was actually causing fake Stevie to loose followers on a regular basis till the twitter who to follow thing...this has been more of an experiment than anything else... The whole thing is kind of fishy...Dave Stewart asked me if "She"(fake Stevie)was still tweeting...When I asked how he knew it was a she he pretty much denied he said it...Stevie may know who is tweeting...Could be the record company thought they could talk her into it...Stevie's been bitchin' about the Internet again don't think she'll start TWEETING...Turns out Stevie's Mgmt has been using her "Internet Phobia" against her "Don't even waste your time making a new record" It'll just get put on the Internet for free Stevie...Nice to see her finally put her foot down and tell them off...
