Well Ledgies, the time has come - the first Winners battle here on the Rumours forum. :D

Vote for your favorite - remember we're going by the original album version.

Your choices are...
1. Monday Morning
2. Rhiannon
3. Say You Love Me
4. World Turning

Even though "World Turning" did not already win a battle, it is still eligible here and for the future "Favorite FM Collaboration" battle.

Any final thoughts about this album? How well do these songs hold up in your personal FM favorites?

Had to go with Say you love Me. Although I'm prepared for a Rhiannon Runaway:distress: This album....I don't play a lot. When I do, I'm always pleasantly surprised by it.....Fun Listen

Say You Love Me is the song that defined the new FM sound in ways that even Rhiannon did not. As classic as Rhiannon is, I think Say You Love Me is the white album's "uber" track.

Say You Love Me

Perfect song. A very nice introduction to the Buckingham Nicks era Fleetwood Mac. As I said in another thread, Rhiannon has become *the* Stevie Nicks song. Say You Love Me is one of *the* Fleetwood Mac songs.

My favorites aren't on the finale list, from this songs, I had to go with World Turning, althrough Say You Love Me was very close.

I was already pretty familiar with Rumours when I bought this album and always felt that I missed something because I already knew where this was leading - the excitement and anticipation about what to expect next. World Turning is the most promising track, Christines and Lindseys voices blending, the musical ability, the chemistry, the atmoshere. Knowledge, artistry, self-convidence. Masters at work, giving their best, knowing that they are about to capture their audience, but toying around for their own pleasure. FM when they were HOT!

Do I have to mention that this album is my favorite? :D

For me, an early live Rhiannon would kick Say You Love Me's butt, but as far as album versions go, I have to lend my support to Say You Love Me, which is bandly perfection.

With 27 votes, "Rhiannon" wins the battle for Favorite Song from the '75 FM album, and will later compete for Favorite FM Song of All Time! :D

Onward to Rumours, Ledgies...:wavey:
