In the least, I know you guys will like the song at the end. It works for the vibe of the film pretty well, eh? ;)
Cheers,

It's definitely interesting. I like it! What I like best is that you took a minimal approach, not a long drawn out story. Only one slight comment, you should have put the name of the song in the credits. That way, if someone watching it liked it, they'd know who it's by. Actually, I think I'll post it in the comments at YouTube.

Well, thank you! The movie original was 5 minutes. I had "Death" in the mirror during the bathroom breakdown scene... but I felt like it didn't work. After the credits are finished, I cut back to the bathroom and show Death pointing... as if "you're next" kind of thing. For some reason when I rendered it, that clip got cut off. I will have to RE-upload it.
Anyway... For reasons of telling a "good" quick story... we were required to cut it down to less than 3 minutes. So cutting 2 minutes of footage (and making the story work) was considerably difficult. I think it still works, but I am my own worst critic and will pick it apart until Kingdom Come. ;)

That was cool. Are you doing it for a job/course/hobby?

I enjoyed your mini movie. I found one mistake though. When the guy came out of the shower and stood in front of the mirror, his hair was dry. It should have looked wet.:sorry:

I know! The continuity issues are driving me insane. My instructors brought up the same thing when I presented the film. I said... "Well not everyone washes their hair every day." ;)

Not everyone washes but everyone gets it wet. Well at least every man does.

OK, now who hangs their towel over the shower curtain while they are taking a shower? The thing would be drenched when you go to dry yourself off.

Nice video. And I wash, condition, and blowdry my hair every single day. A bitch process but I couldn't stand not to.

brandon, this is your first production, right? I like it. It might have been cool to have some tear smudge Lily's name so ink spread blue on the letter...eh, whatevs. anyways, for future films, I would make a small suggestion to shorten the length of credits - one minute is a 1/3 of your video and that is wayyyyyy over for a short film.

Yeah my profs said the same thing... but then they never specified the length of what the credits should be. I realize I could've sped them up a bit more. The credits were really more for the sake of the class involved in making it. Good feedback though.

I do...my whole family does
Brandon, your film is cool. Nicely done! Death after the credits was creepy, but I liked it! My 12 yo is into making short videos for youtube, so I really dig seeing others' work as well ( yours is obviously much more advanced than my son's... )
