ELVIS ON TOUR - 1972 Concert Documentary - Golden Globe Winner for
Best Documentary.
Thursday July 29, 2010
One Night Only Event - Check Elvis.com for participating theatres.
Warner Bros., Elvis Presley Enterprises and NCM Fathom are commemorating the
75th Anniversary of Elvis Presley's birth by presenting Elvis On Tour. A special
in-theatre event that celebrates the timeless music of the rock 'n roll icon.
This one night event will feature much of the last footage shot of Elvis on a multi-
city tour. With an exclusive retrospective from Priscilla Presley, including never
before seen Elvis footage. More than 25 numbers spotlighting Elvis' talent,
range and showmanship fill this lively documentary with some montage sequences
supervised by Martin Scorsese. 15 cities in 15 nights and Elvis wasn't running for
president.

Because of my age I only saw three Elvis movies at the theatre. Two in 1977
when they rereleased some to the movie theatres after his death. And then one in
'82 I believe, "This Is Elvis" Documentary. So this might by your only chance
to see Elvis on the big screen. And it's a great film.
Best Documentary.
