AWWWW!! Oh my god this made my day!! :xoxo: :D

Surely your boss would understand that looking through photos of Christine is all for the greater good, right? ;) I have to thank the people who took them, scanned and posted them online though so I could collect them all together in one place.

Christine's probably looking at pictures of Georgie and not being able to get anything else done because she's blinded by the beauty.:wavey:

Thanks....although I'm surprised that most people don't have signatures hidden. I do, they annoy the hell outta me!

Me too! It's a relief to find someone else feels this way. I wish I could hide smilies, too; I find them HUGELY annoying. I often read this board with images turned off to get rid of 'em.

No offense to the person, but I can't STAND that HUGE black and white picture of Stevie, in their sig. It takes up my whole freaking screen. Thanks for making me have to scroll and entire extra screen, to get past your billboard.:(

Although the advantage of smilies is that they do convey a bit of emotion, which is often missing in the written word. Without them you'd see a lot more arguments on here I'm sure. Otherwise I'd have to type the emotion so that you get the point *shrug* :-)

Smilies promote laziness in writing, just as spell checkers promote laziness in spelling (of course, spell checkers also promote bad spelling, but that's another post altogether).

But I'm willing to give a pass to smilies that just sit there. I use "text smilies" myself occasionally. The ones I really hate are the ones that move and jump around. They give me a headache.
