It only occurred to me tonight that I should've started this idea a long time ago!
Basically, submit any photos or articles about nature you find fascinating. I'll kick it off with two things I found earlier tonight:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Hubble_Ultra_Deep_Field_part_d.jpg (each dot of light, not red/blue due to poor resolution, is a galaxy!)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravitational_lens#Explanation_in_terms_of_space.E2.80.93time_curvature, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Gravitationell-lins-4.jpg
And one more thing I just remembered:
http://marinebio.org/MarineBio/News/Letters/Summer2008.asp, http://marinebio.org/MarineBio/News/Letters/i/peacockflounder_0047.jpg (its evolutionary history is disturbingly written all over it...)
So, let's see it from everyone! Submit away! :D

The NY Times recently published a fascinating article about the actual migratory patterns (as tracked by satellites) of Arctic/Antarctic birds. It's crazy. Flying 7,000 miles nonstop over water... it's just miraculous. It's so arbitrary but also has a kind of logic to it too...

True Colors - The Changing Face of Greenland (http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2010/06/melt-zone/balog-photography), from National Geographic about a week or so ago. Many striking photos.

Those were great photos.
I have always been fascinated by the intricacy of the passion flower. It's fitting that such a delicious fruit comes from a flower this magnificent.

Those photos were magnificent! However, I have a clear favourite in the tenth photo - it's so mesmerising, to say the least!

I've never seen a passion flower before. 'Tis gorgeous! I'll have to ask my dad about them (he's a horticulturist). Thanks! :)
