So I heard a rather...shall we say...disappointing "blurb" on the radio a few weeks ago concerning a joint Eagles/FM concert tour that was supposedly in the works. According to a local station here in San Diego, the Eagles decided to opt out of touring with FM as they felt they had a larger fan base and would draw most of the people to the shows. Therefore, the Eagles didn't want to "share" their earnings with FM. Thus, they are going to tour solo.
Is there any truth to this? This bums me out...I would have paid a pretty penny to see both bands in one night, and I have to respectfully disagree, if the statement about the Eagles being the band to draw the crowds is true - what a load of b.s. if this was indeed said.
