View Full Version : Would I be asking too much..
If I said that I really want Stevie to come back to Australia.
Next week.
I hate the fact that the 2009 tour was the only time Fleetwood/Stevie have been out here when I've been like, old enough to go to the concert. I hate being so young! What I would give to have been born say, 20 years earlier.
Does anyone else here share my pain?!

Well I'm happy for her to come back next week. I have a spare bedroom that she can stay in.

I share your pain but 20 years is still too soon. I wanna see Chicken Shack and Peter Green too.

I have had this dilemma since I was 12 and I fell in love with Queen. I've always loved bands that were years before my time. My friend was really good at maths and science at school and she promised she would make me a time machine one da. Still waiting on that one though! :p

And Bob Welch! :)

I'll never forget missing out on a Tears for Fears concert because I was under 18 :( I had my ticket and everything before I realised the venue was over 18s. I was 16 at the time and the venue had a reputation for being strict. Maybe I should have chanced my arm but it was expensive. I still regret it, but they've just done an Australian tour so they may come back
But yes, being a music fan in the late 70s-80s would have been heaven :D

Hey, Stevie's not come to Wales once... she should drop by at least once as an apology for what happened to Rhiannon

Couldn't have summed it up better.. Us young Aussies.. tut tut tut.. I'd do anything to be transported to '72 with the knowledge I have today.. Track and become a close friend of Stevie nd hopefully journey with them through their lives.. Have Scotch on The Rocks with Mick and John maui wowies all round lol alternatively just to grow up with their music.. Never miss a concert.. :distress:

I was considering saving up $$$ to travel overseas and to conveniently be there when she/Fleetwood Mac do a show next :P

Hey, Stevie's not come to Wales once...
Don't be too sure about that. There's strong evidence about her not only
visiting, but actually living there for a short period of time during the mid
1980's. I wrote in detail about her time spent in Wales in one of my threads.

I assumed she visited if not to perform, but that's interesting!

You also wrote in detail about the re-release of Buck-Nicks and a Christmas special on ABC starring "The Boy Who Cried Wolf.":p

For Nathan and RickRobert, Should I bump the thread about Wales?
If so, it will be in the Fleetwood Mac Forum. Just let me know.
Vivfox,
