I love it when wealthy people are amused by very common, no-longer-novel pieces of shopping-mall drollery for the very first time!! It makes me smile.

I actually think it's just a Stevie Nicks thing as opposed to a wealthy person thing :wavey:.

Wonder what's up with Lindsey hardly ever eating anything in the house, even though he was there more than anyone. Maybe he's saving his stomach for his family or maybe he's got a mysterious eating disorder that only effects middle aged males.

Sara said she bought that for Stevie because it's so hilarious. LOL. Hilarious??? haha. It's remotely funny, but only because Stevie thinks it is. Oh, and she also says Stevie does know how to put in batteries, but Karen was on standby just in case.

And I give Stevie a break for thinking its hilarious. I don't remember what I thought when I first saw them but I know everyone and their dog went out and bought them, so apparently they were funny! And they have a new blue one out that sings the McDonalds "Fillet-o-fish" song and I saw it a few months back and thought it was pretty funny!

I always thought the singing fish was totally tacky and when I saw Stevie amused by it........
As for Lindsey not eating much, maybe he's afraid Stevie will poison it, just so he will never be able to make another double album! (I promise, I'm only joking!!)

what I love about this clip is Stevie's utter charm and almost childlike sense of humor. Her mannerisms in this remind me of past interviews, in particular the Molly Mulderm (I probably spelled his name wrong) RAL interview in Australia, where she is distracted by someone off camera and starts to crack up. It's nice to see that, even after all these years and all she's been through, some parts of her personality remain unchanged.

When I first saw scene on the documentary I cringed for two reasons. The first is that I used to work in a toy store, and when those things came out, people would not stop activating them, so I had to listen to them all day. 2. I can't believe Stevie let her dog up on the counter, especially when there was food up there.

About a year before I saw the 'Destiny Rules' documentary, I was in a Sears, West Hartford, CT, downstairs by the lawn furniture (so it was summer I would guess) and as I walked, I heard and saw that toy fish-- it sounded so much like Stevie Nicks singing 'Take Me To The River" I couldn't believe it!
In the clip posted in this thread, the tone seems deeper- to me, it sounds maybe a tad like Stevie, but in the store, that singing fish sounded just like Stevie!

That's pretty funny. Yesterday I saw someone putting their diapered baby on the kitchen counter as they were warming up food and I was thinking, "Hmmm. I'm not hungry. Thank you."
When DR came out, the talking fish had already been around for a couple of years, so I remember smiling that Stevie was so bowled over by it, because for most consumers it was old news.

:laugh:Very true! They still lick their rear ends and probably eat their own doodie just like every other dog, and she was sharing that house with other people. Gross Stevie! I wonder if anyone in the band said anything? Lindsey: "Get that schizophrenic bitch off the counter".

Really. I read a quote from him somewhere and he said he didn't eat much. I couldn't help but think it's because his wife doesn't cook and is so busy with her other projects... poor guy loses track of time and is forced to eat potato chips...

I don't really blame him though. Isn't that the only thing Stevie could cook? Omelets? He was probably sick of omelets and Hamburger Helper... no wonder he ruined that electric skillet!

Mick made fun of him after he left -- which is the same thing he did in Destiny Rules.
Christine was whining a bit too. She was basically pulling on Mick's arm asking why she had to stay if Lindsey got to leave.
Fun times.

I used to work at Walgreens around this time this video was made and we had them goofy fish at my front register and every customer had to come by and push the button a million times a day and I hated it! Then when I watched this documentary and I saw Stevie set that thing up, I thought, Oh, **** if she only knew what I was going through at work. But when I saw her smile and laugh at that fish singing, for the first time it made me laugh along with her. The first time I saw that fish, I thought it was stupid and I didn't laugh at all, but I guess just seeing her smile and laugh at that fish :wavey:made me feel the same.

Some tour footage I guess Mick took. Bootleg copies have circulated among the fans.
There's a press conference scheduled for after the show and Lindsey wants to leave with Carol Ann and not do the press conference. He says he is hungry and someone says that there is a cheese omelet there he can eat and he says he doesn't want a cheese omelet.

Yes, I think so. I have seen different parts of the video posted on You Tube. There's stuff with them in a big dressing room before and after shows. There's a little bit of them on an airplane and some press conference stuff. There are scenes in Japan.
