What do you speculate it is? Is she single? With someone in a “normal” relationship? Recently hitched in Vegas? Done with love for good? Having an affair with Lindsey? Sticking to one-night stands? Seeing several people at once? Basically, is Mama gettin’ any? Can you tell I’m bored? :p

No? I? Don't? Think? I? Have? xo

I don't really think it's our business to discuss. Just sayin'

I'd be pretty bummed out if Stevie started talking about who I was or wasn't in a relationship with right now, on the internet.

but seriously, i think she had a one night stand with a 20 yr old guy, had a baby and that's why we're getting nothing from her...i'm just sayin....
Wow, I didn't realize you could still give birth post-menopause ;). Is her name Sara or Lily?

It's totally tongue-and-cheek as you can tell from my questions. Obviously none of us know for sure and for those that do I highly doubt they're going to reveal it in this forum.

And yet it will probably end up with this thread being 2 or 3 pages long with 'speculation'.

I'll keep my distance, but this is just my opinion.

Agreed, completely. I'm so tired of seeing posts like this, especially the ones being disrespectful (ex. I've seen people call her a slut before.). Some would probably say 'oh it's just a joke', well it isn't a joke and it isn't funny. It's unnecessary and I often wonder why comments are made like that from people who are supposed to be fans of someone. Most fans wouldn't say things like that about someone they admire.

Maybe we need to add another clause to Johnny Stew's Notice to All Ledgies: "There will be absolutely no speculation about Stevie's personal life on these boards. It must all be serious and respectful as the goddess herself peeks in here from time to time and my take offense. Oh and exchanging of unreleased material is fine".

no kidding. and considering she pimped out her sex life for her music and screwed her way through 2 decades' worth of music industry players, i'd say it's fair game.

There's a difference between discussion and disrespect. In my opinion, this thread is, and will become even more so, disrespectful. So, what if Stevie was having an affair with Lindsey. Well hell, lets all discuss and speculate about that without stopping to think that he has a wife and children. It's not a laughing matter and it's not something to be joked about. Adultery's not funny. Never has been and never will be, sorry.

 We're too in tune. I swear to God, I just took a shot because of you (and thank you for that). I'm playing my own Ledge drinking game tonight because, well, I'm bored, I'm putting off a German essay, and I always speak German slightly better when tipsy. Anyway, I had made "Carrie quotes me and makes some sort of pimp/whore/music/music biz guys reference" a drink.

I get where you're coming from, but I'm serious when I say that she wouldn't have a career if there wasn't that air of dirty laundry surrounding her and the rest of Fleetwood Mac. The built their success on voyeurism, and they built their Dance comeback on voyeurism tinged with nostalgia. Whether the affair happened or not, their show and their music is staged to make you think that it did. They made it public domain, and I really don't think they'd object to anyone causing more buzz about it.

Yes. I wish starting a thread with rules wouldn't be incredibly offensive/ wish I knew how to make a ledge drinking game that was fun without having incredibly offensive rules. We could all bond over it.

I'd be pretty bummed out if Stevie started talking about who I was or wasn't in a relationship with right now, on the internet.

Stevie gave up all rights to her private life when she decided to pursue stardom. She left college, her wealthy family, and a certain future of comfort to move to LA, wait tables, clean houses, and claw her way to the top of the rock and roll heap. She had to have wanted it with every ounce of her being to get to be the "Queen Of Rock." She wanted to be a star... she didn't want to be a cleaning lady, to quote her own demo. You can't pick and chose aspects you like of fame, either. She wanted fame, and she got it... along with all it's good AND bad trappings. Stevie's said herself that her life is art, and she's given her art and life to the world. This is what the woman WANTS. She wants and NEEDS to be talked about. If people stopped speculating about her, that'd mean her career was over. And I don't think Stevie wants to be at that point just yet! :)

Bottom line - when you sign up to be a "star" you put your private life out there for everyone to "speculate" whether you like it or not. It's called CELEBRITY and be it fortunate or not it's a huge part of modern culture. Stevie Nicks is a celebrity! If you think anything differently you're in denial lol.

All I'll say is this:

The following are "facts" which we all know to be true:

1.) Stevie recently sold her house in Phoenix and left the house she was renting in L.A.
She moved into a "rock and roll penthouse" in Malibu Beach on the P.C.H.

2.) Clearly, this place has a.) a gym, b.), a bar, and c.) a social club to hang out in. Probably social activities for the residents, as well.

3.) The rent, clearly, is VERY high in that place. (Read: There's LOTS of hot single rich guys living there.)

4.) Stevie is healthy, fit, attractive, and somewhat extroverted.

Bang those four things together ANNNNNnnny way you want to, folks!!! :]

You never really know what goes on behind closed doors but I don't really see her in a relationship...at some point someone would have seen or heard something. And anyway, how could she possibly have time to find a man when she's with Karen 24/7??? :D I don't know if she realizes this, but having an audience all the time probably puts most men off

Agreed. I can't see why this thread is so objectionable, plenty of Ledgies have speculated about this before and plenty of others have said extremely disrespectful things about this and other aspects of Stevie's life, with no complaints. Why is it fair game to talk about Stevie's past relationships and not imagine what her life is like now? I don't think SapphireSister meant any harm by it, and she doesn't deserve to have people jump down her throat over it

On the reals, I don't think Stevie is in a serious relationship with anyone at the moment although I know she maintains various "close" relationships with men. As much as I'd like her to stay single and focus on nothing but music for the rest of her life I hope she eventually finds someone to spend the remainder of her years with that is worthy of her love. Lord knows the woman deserves it!

I have no doubt Stevie is real good at picking and choosing who she wants to be with. Let's be honest, this woman has prob heard every pick up line ever thought up by big namers and lesser namers who all want to go out with Stevie Nicks. I am sure Stevie has spent her whole life deciding who she wants to date, who she wants to sleep with, and who she wants to just be friends with. Whatever her love life is like right now, I bet Stevie is in complete control of it.
