Question about Fire Burning

[Storms1968]

Does anyone know (or have) any different recording of this song other than the one on OSOTM? Does anything exist?

Cheers :)

[AliceLover]

I know I have heard a few acapella versions as well as versions from a master reel.

I thought I was the only one who could even tolerate this song!! Great to know someone else likes it too!

i have a mash-up that UndoingTheLaces created a little while back.
It's "Fire Burning" and the B-52's song, "Roam". I love it!

Stevie's interview (on the "Reflections from The Other Side Of The Mirror" promo) about this song is one of my favorite Stevie brain fart moments, where she says basically:

"I am terrified of fire, I will never die in fire. I'm lucky in that I've never had to deal with fire.....that's not true, the song Fire Burning was about a fire in my garage and I grabbed my journals, my artwork and ran out of the house....."

Love how she just switches gears almost mid-sentence.

Thanks for the props, sweetie.

I know Stevie said this song was about a fire but it's so obvious it was about drugs.
