I was going thru some of my old fleetwood mac vhs tapes that i'm burning onto dvd and i came across
this clip from when the band played in boston in 1990. Sorry about the horrible quality in the
first part of the video...couldn't be helped...enjoy

I was at this concert and remember seeing that newscast. That was a weird period for Stevie. During the interview I like how, when her earing fell off, she just casually threw it behind her --and then ended up giving the earrings to the interviewer!

i remember they played boston 4 times that year. The first 3 was at great woods in july and that was
a much shorter 90 min set then they came back and played the garden in november and that leg
of the tour was a 3 hour show. That band was a mess that year because mick's book had just come
out and mick was holding silver springs hostage. Mick and stevie were not on the best terms AND
it was in the press that it was gonna be the last tour with stevie and christine. Not to mention
stevie was still on kilonopin at that point.

Aww thanks for sharing this Mike! This is special because I live right near Boston and I have been to this Hard Rock Cafe. The dress Stevie gave to them is quite hideous, but it was still awesome to see in person!

Thanks! It is always interesting to see interviews I haven't seen before. Although they sounded great in the live clips, this version of the band lacked the spark and magic that Lindsey helped provided the group both live and in the studio. They postponed the show I was supposed to see on the first leg but I got to see two on the longer shows when they came back and announced that Stevie and Christine would be leaving the group. The other thing that I remember is that even though Stevie gave some pretty harsh interviews for Timespace (concerning Silver Springs and Mick's book) she came out and helped promote Mick's book during the live shows, which I thought was really great of her considering that these were some of her "lost" years. I believe that she had Epstein-Barr during this time. She looked great albeit the large hats and belts.

That is so not Fleetwood Mac. That is Stevie Nicks with 2 random dudes who happen to be playing/singing with the band at this time.

Thanks so much for this. I've never seen this before. I do have a couple of photos from the Hard Rock Event. You can tell Stevie is just a little "spaced" out. I hate her look during this era though. That's so cool that Stevie gave the interviewer the earrings. I wonder if she still has them?

This is awesome. Thank you so much for those 4 videos from Tango and BTM period. I know that was a bad time for Stevie, but I canīt help... I just love this line-up, the sound of this live concerts... but itīs true that at the end of BTM tour (which was here on this video) Stevie was really ... she just didnīt care about anything I think...
and that with that earring... haha :) great

Thanks for posting this. I always like seeing things from this period of the band, just because it is so undercovered!!

Considering the time, I must say I think she looks pretty good.

You're my new hero, Mike  I enjoy these vids (and this line-up) very much.
In the 'earring interview', I don't think Stevie looks particularly Klonopin'd. She actually seemed pretty bright-eyed that day. Compare it to the Japan interviews from 1990 - those are painful.

Come on, Sister, it's been 20 years -- long enough to let go of the Rick/Billy hate, doncha think? Geez, I didn't even hate my ex that long.

I love the way those reviewers totally hated the concert but were trying desperately to turn it into a more positive review. It's alright, sistahs... say it like you mean it.
By the way, is there a name for that 90's 'do with the parted bangs and the neck-length bob? It seems like every "serious" female professional (and beauty pageant contestant) was rocking it back in the day. It is such an underrated/neglected piece of 90's iconography!
