I have to say that I agree. I don't think she should be replaced at all...but even if they did again consider replacing her, I can't think of anyone who could really fill her shoes.

Oh, I agree......there's no replacing Christine! But I think there's a HUGE hole in the band without a third lead vocalist!
(Oh, and Angel.....if you like the Runaways, please, please, PLEASE check out Fanny....the true Queens of Rock & Roll!!!)

I agree that no one can replace Christine, but I'll just say that if there HAD to be another singer, then they should have Bob Welch rejoin.

That would be a bad move.
I don't think the band would ever entertain the idea either.

Christine was an important 3rd of Fleetwood Mac, and like Stevie - she has a quality that NO ONE could replace. :)

Fleetwood Mac with a replacement Christine would be much worse than Fleetwood Mac just minus Christine.

She has already been replaced.
They're called: Sharon, Lori and that other one I try to forget.

Have you guys already forgotten
that this "almost" happened? Even
Lindsey was onboard in the end, not
to mention Barry.

What could have been.........

ABSOFREAKINGLUTELY! And I'll bet Bob would be up for it(well, depending on Wendy's health). No need for a second guitarist, and even if Bob played a somewhat diminished role in the band, just adding 4-5 of his songs, would freshen their setlist, SOOO much! REALLY, doesn't it make complete sense to add Bob????? My only guess, is that Lindsey doesn't want the competition(I'm being serious).

If they were interested in being a living, breathing, productive recording band, I'd say: new members would be welcome--if not necessary! Mind you, I recommend this not as a replacement for Christine, but as a way of reinvigorating the band's chemistry (a la the Mac's history of evolution). That said: I don't really trust them to pick an appropriate new member (Chris Isaak, Iris DeMent, An Pierle being the best choices imo).
