Well, the title is 101OceanAve which I am pretty sure is the address to Stevie's condo. But we know it isn't Stevie's desk because there is a foreign object on there that Stevie wouldn't be caught dead with.

There are several things in that desk that can be linked to Stevie in some way: "Gone With The Wind", "Lennon", "Son Of A Witch", several poetry and art books, a scary puppet, small figurines with crescent moons.
But then there's also a computer, a (signed?) TLC album and some really horrible curtains, and I don't think it's Stevie and Lindsey in the picture frame so I have really no idea.
Is it a picture from Stevie's old house from some real estate site?

You guys are really not serious, if you think she doesn't own a computer. That Mac is several years old and probably about a 2000 dollar piece of equipment.

I'm sure she owns one, but I'm also sure she doesn't use it. Karen does, that's part of her job. That's all people were saying.:shrug:

We know for a fact she owns a computer, because I believe on Fox news she said it had been her assistant who had been emailing the interviewer, not herself. She's mentioned in several interviews that she has email, cell phones, and such... but it's Karen who is responsible for them. Stevie may not use the computer or cell phone herself, but Karen is armed with both and no doubt uses them to support Ms Nicks. You can't be a figure in entertainment today without cell phones and computers. Sorry to ruin the allusion, folks.

So, I did some research on the name 'Kady' that I found on a few things in the house. At the time the photos were taken, I seriously doubt it was Stevie's.
101 Ocean Ave Unit A200 was owned by Kady Riklis and Krisopher Riklis as of 1/2007. Kady is the daughter of Pia Zadora, born in 1985.

Kind of a cheap, press-board looking desk, isn't it? Also, that armless chair doesn't look too comfortable for sitting long-term.
Note the 'TLC' disc though- I think at one point Stevie said she liked them, and that their single 'Unpretty' sounded like a FM song

That's what I said. No one was under any allusion, which was why I was confused by Nathan's post and now by yours. Where does anyone say they don't think Stevie owns a computer (which is operated by Karen)?

Look up a few posts... StandBackStevie thinks Karen uses a typewriter in 2010 ;). Email and such is the way of the world these days, for better or worse.

Meaning if that was taken in Stevie's condo, then it is most likely Karen's computer since Stevie uses a typewriter.

Originally I was puzzled by why Nathan thought that having one in her home equated to her using it, when Stevie tells the press all the time she refuses to use one. Then he said I was assuming, and well of course I had to demonstrate I had facts to back me up!
But now that I hear she's secretly emailing ledgies, I stand corrected.:laugh: Please tell her I'm not so sure about that Dave Stewart collaboration.;)

Well, that was a bizarre little ramble through Wtf-ville. We start out with some shot of a Wal-Mart desk & get told to look closer Where's Waldo? style to solve the great mystery only to end up with fappery over whether or not Stevie uses a computar machiene, which is rounded out with a fantastic passive-aggressive "whatevz" when sauce is presented.

I think it is, becuase there are alot of books Stevie would read. There are books on Poetry, Music (Like a Lennon Bio and some other Beatles book) and French Verbs. I laughed when I saw the sequel to wicked - Son of A Witch!
Plus there is this really Nicksian ledge with all these ceramic moons and elves.
On the other hand, she must really like the Little Mermaid!

I really don't see Stevie having an autographed TLC CD. To think Stevie would own the cd anyway is a stretch, to think she went out of her way to get it autographed, an even bigger stretch. And to think she would display it in her house, but not any autographed stuff from some of the truly amazing people she worked with? Impossible.

I wasn't missing any point. I thought Nathan's post about the $2,000 Mac computer was condescending (whether he intended it to be or not), and so I responded to that. Then when I link to articles proving my argument, he responds in a passive/agressive manner as Zombie pointed out. I get annoyed when people act like they know better than everyone else and have nothing to back up their views with.
As for the original topic, why he didn't just explain what he thought the desk picture was rather than being cryptic might have helped lessen the confusion that runs through this whole thread.
