Rosie met Stevie on Thanksgiving

So it would have been Thanksgiving of 1986. Not too long before she went into rehab, right (http://www.freebase.com/view/en/stevie_nicks/-/celebrities/celebrity/rehab_history)? I wonder if she purposely timed it so she wouldn't be in rehab during any of the holidays. Like if she had gone as soon as the Rock a Little tour ended, she might have missed Halloween and then Thanksgiving. But she went soon enough so that she wouldn't miss Christmas.

I don't know what the time line would have been, but I wonder if Stevie remembers Rosie from that dinner. Rosie should've asked her when she interviewed her on her show. Rosie was still only doing stand up at that time, and wasn't as famous as she is today.

The last Rock a Little show was on October 6th, and I thought I read someone say she was with Fleetwood Mac recording vocals for TITN before Halloween. If so, she couldn't squeeze 28 days (http://www.fleetwoodmac-uk.com/articles/archive/SNart013.html) at Betty Ford into that time period.

The last Rock a Little show was on October 6th, and I thought I read someone say she was with Fleetwood Mac recording vocals for TITN before Halloween. If so, she couldn't squeeze 28 days (http://www.fleetwoodmac-uk.com/articles/archive/SNart013.html) at Betty Ford into that time period.

Right. The October 6th show was down under. The Red Rocks show - I want to say that was in August. Then the retakes - that was after the betty ford trip. There is a picture of Fleetwood Mac in their halloween costumes out there. It has to be from 86, Lindsey had already left the band in Halloween of 87. So Stevie was with the band for Halloween.

And on topic, I love how nobody is laughing during this clip. Thanks for sharing it! :wavey:

Stevie's memory, it has been remarked, is sometimes "somewhat shaky" when it comes to these issues... :rolleyes:
