I'm just getting ready to go to work here and had the news on and I'm thinking it's 9/11 all over again. Seeing the building on fire really unnerved me. Apparently it was a small twin engine plane piloted by someone who had that morning writted a suicide note and had many problems with the IRS. The one thing I thank god for is that only 2 people in the office building were hurt and none killed.

There's still a worker in that building missing :(. Another had to be flown to San Antonio's burn unit... that tells you how bad their injuries were. I just can't believe somebody's money problems would make them do something this heinous :distress:. I mean really, how bad is your life when you feel you have to crash your private plane into a government building?

thank god they are reporting the one sent to the burn unit does not have life threatening burns~ i believe they said his shirt caught fire & he was burned where the shirt was~ how horrible~ i can see being blindingly upset over something~ but to do something like this & hurt people who are innocent folks, is just plain disturbing:distress:~

I wouldn't be surprised if this dude had a Tea Party membership card in his wallet.

What a total whackadoo! I want to kick his ass for setting a cat on fire, before setting his home on fire yesterday. I've been listening to the radio all day and getting very little work done.

It is amazing and a relief that more people weren't seriously injured or killed. I hate that my beloved city is a trending topic on twitter for such a tragic incident.

I'm not trying to defend this person or anything, but seriously....

As many people as there are:

- having really bad financial problems
- losing jobs
- losing houses
- going bankrupt
- being sued by credit companies
- getting cars repo'd
- being old and having to come out of retirement because their 401Ks tanked
- losing their families because of severe financial strain
- losing life as they knew it, what they worked long and hard for (okay, not in ALL cases, but still...)

AND.... as many f*cking ASSwipe selfish people as there are out that are downright rude, hostile jerks, maybe taking their own problems out on unsuspecting innocent people they don't even know, every day...

I'm totally surprised we don't hear about this kind of thing happening all over the country on a daily basis.

Thank God so many people are on some kind of tranquilizing medication that seems to be working for them, otherwise, I think we would. Sad really, when you think about it.

So remember, don't be rude to strangers. They might be close to flying their plane into the building where YOU work. :p
